Tonks gave Remus' hand a squeeze and he kissed her forehead softly. They were stood down a dark, deserted corridor at Hogwarts castle, having a moment together before they fought.

This was where it ended. Or could it just be the beginning?

Tonks' mind raced back to the beginning. When her life had truly begun. She flashed back to the day when her and Remus had met, the day even then she knew she would remember for the rest of her life.

Remus thought how he was like before he met Tonks. She had turned his world upside down with just one smile. Evey second he was with her he treasured.

They both looked at each other and smiled nervously. And, as if by magic, they whispered the quote together,

A silent tear fell down Tonks face, Remus gently wiped it away from her, looking deeply into her eyes, as if reading her thoughts.

The magical world was in pieces, they knew that. They knew their lives were in jeopardy, they were on the brink of death. The Death Eaters (especially the Lestranges and the Malfoys) despised Tonks because her mother was a 'blood traitor'.

They agreed they would always love each other, no matter what happened. Teddy would always be their son and nothing could change that; they would always love him. Nothing could come between their love for one and other.
