I don't own Harry Potter, but sugar quills are awesome, so I'm writing this. This will be a series of oneshots, and it's about sugar quills. Don't know what a sugar quill is? It's a quill made out of sugar.
Enjoy :)
Sugar quills... whoever invented them had to have been a genius. Only a genius could come up with a way to eat candy and still look like you're concentrating in class...
Or so went Ron's dreamy thoughts as he sucked on the candy blissfully in Transfigurations class.
Minerva McGonagall, however, had her fair share of experience with these particular treats, and would not tolerate it in her class. She had already recognized that her redhead student was not, in fact, eating his quill, which she could plainly see rested on his desk. The fake quill in his mouth however, had already grown noticeably shorter, and it shouldn't take even a Weasley ten minuted to think about a good first line for this assignment.
So, as she prowled across the room, she gave a short flick of her wand as she passed him, and transfigured his sugar quill into a real quill. And her face transformed into a smirk when she heard his yelp only five seconds later when he found himself chewing on feathers.
Served him right, for trying to fool Professor McGonagall.
