I don't own anything in the story. Not the characters or the song. T.T

Link sighed has he thought about the fact he and Zelda weren't a couple any longer.

I'm so tired of being here

She accused him of not caring enough about her. Which made Link angry. Evrything he done was for her. Why couldn't she see that?

Suppressed by all my childish fears

So he took off. "Don't come back either." Zelda had shouted after him.

And if you have to leave

I wish that you would just leave

Link sighed. Why did he have to care so deeply for Zelda? There were other girls in his life and he never felt like this to any of them.

'Cause your presence still lingers here

And it won't leave me alone

Malon came up to Link. "Are you okay Link?" she asked.

Link smiled at her. "I'm fine." he lied. He didn't want her to worry about him more then she already did.

These wounds won't seem to heal

This pain is just too real

There's just too much that time cannot erase

"Dinner will be done soon." Malon said. "You don't have to work yourself to death you know. You'll always be welcome to stay here."

Link worked so much to keep his mind off Zelda. Not that it was working. But Link was sure he'd start crying if he didn't keep busy.

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears

Link followed her to the house. There was a nice soup that was cooking.

Malon smiled. "You know Zelda isn't the only girl in Hyrule." she giggled. "And any girl would love to go out with the hero."

When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears

Link wondered if she had a point in telling him this. "Yeah I know..." he muttered his eyes on the floor.

And I held your hand through all of these years

But you still have

All of me

Zelda sat in her bedroom. She wanted to make things right with Link again. She loved him very deeply and hated it when they would fight.

You used to captivate me

By your resonating light

"Zelda?" her father called. "Will Link be joining us tonight?"

"No. He's...busy." she replied.

Now I'm bound by the life you left behind

Your face it haunts

My once pleasant dreams

"I see." the king said. "I'm sure he'll be back."

Zelda looked at a small bracelet Link had made her when they were about fourteen. She had kept it since.

Your voice it chased away

All the sanity in me

She picked it up. "Link." she whispered.

These wounds won't seem to heal

This pain is just too real

There's just too much that time cannot erase

The tears began falling down her face.

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears

"Why did you have to leave?!" she shouted at thin air. "Don't you love me has much has I love you?!"

When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears

She burried her face in her pillow. Why was love so complicated?

And I held your hand through all of these years

But you still have

All of me

Link stared at Malon. He wondered if she had been trying to flirt with him earlier. The two of them had always been friends but Link never knew if she liked him like that or not.

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone

"Maybe she's right". Link thought

But though you're still with me

I've been alone all along

There was a knock at the door. Link got up and was shocked to see Zelda.

"Link I didn't mean what I said earlier." she said akwardly.

Link hugged her. He was glad to see her.

A few days later...

Malon was quite lonely without Link. She wished he would notice her. But who would when there was someone like Zelda around?

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears

When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears

And I held your hand through all of these years

But you still have

All of me
