The tournament to decide the next demon king had just come to an end. Enki was now the king of the demon realm who looked over all the other regions respectively. Yusuke had taken over the mantle of his late predecessor raizen who he recently learned was a very admirable individual, hiei had married mukuro and they both shared control of their land as king and queen. It might seem impossible that hiei would do such a thing but, spending his time with Yusuke and the gang opened his heart to newer things (much like vegeta; but I'm getting ahead of myself) Kurama had taken on the role of Yomis' second in command and lead his army to great things. All three friends enjoyed their respectable roles but, they knew it was time to return to the human world. One month after the tournament, they all met on the outskirts of demon world ready to return. "Damn it's good to see you guys again it's been too long" Yusuke exclaimed as his saw his friends approaching he was usually late for everything but, this time he was the earliest. Kurama and Hiei had been having a conversation while on their way to the field. "So what are you going to say to Yukina?" Kurama asked to the short man beside him "about what?" hiei asked with a scowl on his face; even though he had changed his ways, he was still grumpy with zero tolerance for many. "You know what I'm talking about "Kurama said playfully "her unknown brother getting married". "Hm I have no intention of disclosing that information to her and you'd be wise to do the same fox" he threatened "Oh you don't have to worry about that hiei it's not my position to do so. They stopped talking when they heard Yusukes voice "Kurama, Hiei!" he screamed "what's up?" both their brows furrowed "that's the Yusuke I know loud and abrasive" Kurama said "whoa, you two have gotten crazy strong over the month" if he didn't know any better he would say they were almost as strong as Yomi and Mukuro. "Indeed Yusuke after seeing your fight with Yomi, I pushed myself to near exhaustion training with Mukuro. "Speaking of which where is the bride to be I hope you haven't scared her of already" Yusuke said "she's back at the castle waiting for my return" he said nonchalantly. Yusuke put his finger up to his face in deep thought "Oh I get it she's waiting for you to give her the old (in and out) huh" Yusuke smiled. "Can we please just return to the human world so we can see our friends?" Kurama questioned obviously annoyed by Yusukes childish comment. "Yeah I know Kuwabara and Keiko would kick my ass if I was late again" he said as he waved his hand around. "Lest go" he said as they started running to the portal miles away.
So what do you guys think so far? Next chapter we will introduce the z fighters and their current predicament. Also I will be posting power levels of the characters throughout the story( I know they were made meaningless after the namek saga but, they're so much fun to do)
