He stared down on the lifeless body in his arms, his hand beneath the once silk-like hair of Barik. Why? rang in his ears over and over again as the silver haired familiar spirit screamed for the fin-earred man to answer him. To speak and say something.
"Say something, stupid!! You idiot!!"
Tears slipped from duel colored hues and his arms racked about in a violent manner of utter pain. The shock to his heart was worse than to the body.
Barik wasn't responding, he wasn't answering...wasn't using words the pup didn't understand.
"Leonard, heal him!"
He wanted to hit the aqua magia user. Just to see if he'd get a response then.
Barik! Answer me, dammit! Say something...anything!
Another scream tore from his throat as he bowed his head, clutching the fabric of the other male's uniform shirt tightly.
So many things had been left unsaid, and it was killing him more than making him feel better.
"If you're not gonna do it, I will!! I declare Tera magia: Earth's Blessing!!"
Even when it was approved by Kazuma nothing happened.

Pressing his face into the bloodied fabric the teen's shoulders bounced with pitiful sobs as he held on ever tighter even when the others tried to pull him off.

He reached a hand out as the scent of burnt flesh floated about and Rivan holding him back to allow the free hand the pup owned to reach out.

His heart seemed to shrivel up at this and thought over to Fall with hatred flaring through his veins.

Before he knew it dogtags were hanging before his features and the white haired teen felt sick just looking at them and felt his eyes sting once again. Turning his back to the Dark Liege army he clenched his hands into fists.
"Don't you feel anything? He didn't deserve this! It was so sudden!"
The hair replacing his dog ears bent down then and closed his eyes tightly to fight back tears.
He liked Barik, even if they fought.
This had to be a nightmare...
The blue haired fan-user continued holding them out and his voice seemed soft but full of emotion as well.
"To protect what matters...we have to take losses."
He stared at the dogtags once they were placed in his hand. "...then what's the point of having friends?" More tears then formed but didn't fall.
FFV's note: I was so stunned when Barik died...like: 'What the fuck! Nooooooo!' stunned. Plus I saw how emotional Nora was so I decided to fiddle around with that scene. No offense to the people who liked the scene as it was and whatnot...I just felt that I had to do this or I'd be ever depressed.
