She felt the crisp zephyr sweep through her blonde tresses. Edea's eyelids slid shut, finally enjoying the refreshing breeze. Thanks to her and her friends, they were able to awaken the wind crystal to once again, bring the winds to Ancheim – which was a while back, but Agnès had suggested that they pay a trip to The Land of Sand and Time to check on its citizens. Nobody in the party held any complaints of any sort, of course, so they sped along, happening to arrive rather late. Their day concluded with a stay at the local inn for the night.

Mostly everyone.

With a sigh, Edea's gold eyes gazed out of the window to the room she was assigned to rest in for the evening. Elbow propped on the surface of the window's edge, and soon was holding her head. The young lass wasn't tired, per say, but more of an emotional exhaustion that usually ended with her and her thoughts. Awakening the final crystal was now their main goal at the moment, and with Agnès now the only surviving vestal, more precautions were taken. All four sleeping in the same room was one of the many safety measures that Edea thought was a bit overboard, but of course, nobody could say no to Tiz.

"Can't sleep?"

Edea didn't have to gaze over her shoulder to know it was Ringabel, who of course, arrived back into their shared room late. Tiz and Agnès were already sleeping in their beds respectively, on one end of the surprisingly large room, and the other two available were for herself and the flirtatious male – who was now next to her.

"Not really." A shrug followed.

Ringabel's eyebrows furrowed together for a moment, mirroring her pose, leaned against the base of the window. "I could say the same thing."

Suppressing her snort, she managed a roll of her eyes. Hmph. Like he ever sleeps with his lecherous train of thought. Edea found her lips moving without having to think. "There's something about this place…"

"The large clock?" The male offered, his eyes now eyeing at the dark sky.

"No, the wind." Within the back of her mind, she could still remember the way Agnès was able to awaken the crystal with her friends right at her tail. The sight was mesmerizing to her; the wind vestal was the most formal and unselfish whilst performing her titular duties. The memory brought a smile through her lips. With Tiz on one side of her, she was in the middle, and Ringabel was on the other side – very close to her.

Like right now.

"You know, Edea," he began to muster, "Ancheim is the first place we traveled to… as a whole." Ah, yes, despite his flirtatious attitude (which was all for show), he still remembered being by her side. The same young woman whose description on D's journal accurately described, along with the pencil sketch of her, thumbs up. The blond turned to glance at her, inhaling sharply – but not too loud for her ears to catch. The way the moonlight gleamed down made her even more beautiful. As always, Miss Lee is spellbinding.

His words brought unexpected glee in her. "Mhm…"

She was not prepared for what happened next.

Ringabel moved away from the window, now standing behind her. His breath suddenly brushed at the nape of her neck, making her gasp softly. "And the first place to have you as my own." His lips barely aligned down the side of her neck, until he reached her small shoulder, and delivered a generous kiss. Truth be told, Ringabel had his likes, but with Edea, it was an inevitable infatuation that consumed him whole. It was almost painful to not continue touching her like this. "Hm." The male pulled back quietly.

"Sleep, my dear. It's late."

And before she could utter a single peep, he had wandered over to one of the vacant beds, preparing to slumber. She soon followed suit, finding herself…wanting…
