Rebekah wondered around the French quarter for a while. It had been so long since she had visited this remarkable city. So many memories and not all of them are good. She bought a few things in the local markets using money form the werewolf she had killed at the airport. Just then she had sensed a presence behind her. "Hello sister" a farmiliar voice declared. It was Elijah. She turned around slowly with a grin on her face that became wider as she set eyes on her beloved brother. "My my have you been working out don't you look good" she winked "Ah still as playful as ever I see." They both laughed and hugged "You know me, Playful is my middle name." Elijah laughed at her reply "Now where is that traiterous bastard of a brother you are so obsessed with saving?" she asked lifting an eyebrow. "He's got into a bit of trouble." "What kind of trouble?" rebekah asked intrigued "Oh you know the kind of trouble where he sleeps with a werewolf and she becomes pregnant with his baby afterwards." "Oh I see, I dont understand how that is possible?"
"Magic" a voice said behind them "And who are you" "i'm sophie deveraux, your brother is a Hybrid half werewolf - half vampire the girl pregnant with his baby is a werewolf. A magical loophole has made all of this possible." "oh I see thanks for clearing that up witch." Rebekah walked up to her full focus on her "And why exactly are you so interested in this baby exactly." "Well that baby will hold the power we need to unlock the Triad" "What the hell is a triad?" "A source of power that would allow us to destroy the werewolves plaguing this city and take back what is ours" "Oh I see your hoping to exploit this baby that isn't even born yet to help you unlock a source of power that you can use to destroy this werewolf infestation." "Exactly" "And how do you know that Klaus won't just use this power for himself" The witch went silent "Oh you haven't thought about it have you, so let me tell you what will happen, you'll trust Klaus with this secret he'll use you lot and his baby to unlock this new power and take it for himself, that's just the kind of person he is. So me and Elijah will prevent Klaus from doing that but we can't give you any chances. Now if you excuse me i'm gonna go get lunch ciao" She said with a grin on her face as she walked away from the group.
2 hours later Rebekah was at a restaurant eating food and drinking blood in a glass having compelled the kitchen staff.
"Hello Rebekah" Klaus said as he entered the restaurant. "Hello Nik" she replied not looking at him as he sat opposite her "nice city here don't you think?" "Yes indeed I think I might stay here what about you" "Well i'm just travelling at the moment but who knows, looks an effective place to relax. So new baby on the way, Triad, witches what the hell is going on Nik?" "Ah so you know" he smirked "I'm as surprised and confused as you I never thought I was the parental type but miracles happens it seems." "That's true brother very true" they both laughed as they drank their coffee.
