The only reason Calypso decided to make new clothes for that infuriating new demigod, Leo, was because he kept burning through all of them. That was the only reason, right? And the only way she knew what to make was to look back into his past, which was something she hated to do. No matter how rude and obnoxious he might be (he called her Sunshine), she was still prying into his life. If Calypso could respect anything, it was the need for privacy. But she still went over the the basin her mother gave her when she was still a little girl-goddess, and spoke the words over the water. The water turned sea green, and she bent down, and put her face into it.

One of the reasons Calypso hated this was the feeling. Feeling your soul be pulled in a million different directions at once is not a pleasant feeling. Neither is having your physical body be pushed flat on the ground by the weight of dimensions.

The first thing she saw was a small boy, with messy curls, warm brown eyes, and a mischievous smile. A woman was working in a workshop, and the little boy was playing with colorful pipe cleaners and screws.

"Leo, hijo, where are you? It's time to go home." The woman called out.

"Here mamá! I'm coming!" The little boy who is Leo toddles over, and squeals when his mother picks him up.

Calypso feels her soul twist through time again, and lands in a time where Leo is 8.

"The Fates will not allow me to kill you now. Leo Valdez, but I can still break your spirit." Calypso realized that this must be Gaea, her grandmother. She watched as Leo lost control, and his mother died.

She saw him run away for the first time, the second, and all the other times after. She saw when he couldn't handle it anymore and he broke down in the sewer tunnel.

"Please, mamá. I can't do it anymore."

Calypso saw him with the bullies, using humor to hide the pain. But she could see into his eyes, and they weren't the warm brown color she saw on the toddler. They were the eyes of someone who had suffered too much pain.

She saw him with a tan skinned girl with choppy hair and braids. Were they..? No, anyone could see they were just friends. For some reason Calypso felt relief.

She saw him cry over his dragon, saw him with the blond boy, and she saw him with

Percy

(she tried to forget)

But then, a blond girl came into the picture, and they kissed like nothing else mattered.

Calypso saw Leo's crushes on Khione, and Reyna.

She followed him until he reached Ogyia.

Calypso pulled her head out of the water, and flattened her still-dry hair. She went over to her loom and started to weave
