Though it seems I stand tall against these shadows on the wall
Me myself and I quiver in fear of these shadows that make us feel so small
Because I know the meaning of these shadows that slowly dance across these walls
Devouring all they come across in a maddening crawl
I know that they are here for everything I hold dear in my heart
To steal away all that I love leaving me broken and torn apart
