It was hardly noticeable, only when you looked close.
It had happened when they were little, he was six and Dean was ten.
They were playing outside, he tripped and Dean wasn't able to catch him.
The way it was shaped, Dean had always teased him about it.
In it's own way though the heart shaped scar located on his ankle held special value to him, because the day it happened, they were allowed, if only for a few shot minutes, to be kids.
