Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. it's testing season at school so I've been doing home work all the time. This I thought of while petting a cat at my sisters riding lesson (i can't ride 'cause I'm allergic to grass) whichwas strange 'cause I'm more of a dig person and don't really like cat and I figured Sirius wouldn't either so I did this in he car on the way back. Hope you like it!
"How could you do this to me?" Sirius yelled "I thought we were supposed to be friends!"
James stared at his friend in disbelief. "I got a cat... How is that a problem for you?"
"You got a cat!
James saw Remus look up from his book and roll his eyes. James grinned. Remus was constantly complaining about how overly dramatic Sirius was.
"It's a cat Sirius." Remus said sounding very exasperated. "It's not the end of the world."
"It's the end of my world." Sirius muttered. Remus rolled his eyes ad went back to his book, leaving James to deal with Sirius and the great cat emergency, as it was later called.
James sighed. "Sirius, I'm going to say this ounce very clearly. My. Cat. Won't. Hurt. You."
Sirius leaned back against the wall. "It's horrible. Sirius world is falling apart. It's being invaded by cats. We're all gonna die!"
The cat, who was a yellow and black striped cat named Sam, came over to Sirius and started sniffing his hand and rubbing her head against Sirius's leg. Sirius absentmindedly stuck his hand out and began to pet it. James laughed quietly to himself. This was going perfectly.
"Sirius?" Remus said "you are aware that what your touching is a cat right?"
Sirius glared at both of them. "Fine. Cats aren't THAT bad. But be warned, I only like this one 'cause its James'. I'm still a dog person. The dogs deserve my loyalty."
James amd Remus both smiled at this, both for two complealty different reasons.
Suddenly the doors flew open.
"James Potter!" Lily Evans yelled "Why in the name of Merlin do you have my cat?!"
"It's your cat?" Sirius said to Lily. "But James said-"
James looked around nervously at the two 13 year olds glaring at him. This was not the best thought out prank.
