It was a Sunday afternoon. All the family went to the state fair. Today was family day witch means all the Kids get in free will adult price & all the rides are free. Alex dropped off the Gia & the kids at the gate while we park the car. Then Alex paid to get in the park. The boys head for the rides. Alex & Gia went to the tunnel of love ride. At the Hospital, Simba was in the MRI scanner. Melman had a sedate him for pain relief. Melman looked at his brain in the computer screen. He was checking for blood clots. Alex wheeled him into the sedation recovery so he can sleep. Melmn was talking to Alex. It's a migraine but he did not have a stroke. It was a brain overload. Because of his Age, His brain couldn't handle it so I need to keep him for a couple of days so he can rest. Simba was still sleeping. It was hours. Melman listen to his heart & apply an oxygen mask on him Hours later, He finally woke up. What took him so long? Alex asks. Melman answered. Not sure. Simba felt nausea. Alex give him a tub to vomit in. Melman wet a washcloth with warm water & wiped his face down & wheeled him to the medical unit in a room & move him on the bed & exam him. Alex started up an I.V line of morphine. Melman placed a catheter in his bladder with a bedside drainage bag & ordered a liquid diet & make his room dark & quiet.
Days went by, Simba was feeling much better & got discharged & was off the liquid diet from eating ice-chips in the Hospital. Gia fixed him a nice juicy steak.
