Edward Elric is
the Full Metal Alchemist
which makes it really
hard to write a haiku, and
tanka are hard to write, too.
So short and sweet, it
almost hurts your teeth, that's
not quite our Edward...
Edward Elric has
moments of lucidity,
but they only last
about as long as our dear
Fullmetal Elric is tall.
He doesn't know what
he'll do when he's done, but he
aims to finish it.
Alphose, Alphonse, the
armored Elric, has kept his
soul there for too long.
Edward E. lost an
arm and a leg to fix what he
totally fucked up.
Alphonse Elric lives
though without body, his soul
is sealed in armor.
Winry, wielder of
wrenches. She knows Ed has not
the sense to maintain
the automail limbs he has
had to suffer to obtain.
Riza Hawkeye, the
poor gal, has to deal with Roy
from sunup to down.
Maes Hughs! It was
unfair for such an awsome
character to die.
I am so appalled I can't
properly write your tanka.
Maes Hughs, random,
an awesome character with
a flair for living.
Roy Mustang wants to
rise in rank, but for now he's
lieutenant colonel.
