Chapter 1: An angel burdened
A/N I know i've been gone for quite a while and honestly I have no excuse except that I haven't been able to come up with any ideas so... sorry. Also i'm going to try my hand at a third person point of view.
Bursting into her room Hinata began quickly packing things into a backpack, food water spare clothes essential stuff, she was tired of trying to get Naruto to notice her and finally decided enough was enough. She decided to go on a training trip alone far away from the Leaf village.
Just as she finishes packing there's a light knock on her door, activating her Byakugan momentarily she see it's Neji and says "come in."
Neji opens the door just as she hefts the pack on to her back and asks "Hinata what are you doing?"
"I'm going away on a training trip."
He looks at her for a moment as she readjusts her jacket then says "I'll go with you."
She slowly shakes her head and holding her fists against her chest she says "I need time alone."
"why?"
"it's Naruto... he... he ooh." Her gaze turns steely as she calls up the memory
*Hinata was walking through the streets back towards home when she spotted Naruto smiling she ran up to him and said "hi Naruto-kun."
barley glancing at her he said "hey Hinata, what're you doing here?"
"nothing I just wanted to see if you want to talk."
"no."
"then how about a bowl of ramen?"
"Sakura and I are gonna get some soon."
he said it again... Sakura. Usually she'd just let it slide but this time something snapped.
She slowly turns to him the rage evident on her face and says "before your fight with Neji who was it that reassured you that you could beat him, during your fight with Pain who was it that saved you, and who is it that has always loved you?"
Naruto stares at her in shock and stammers out a quick "H-Hinata?"
she raises her hand and smacks him then turning on her heels she runs straight toward lady Tsunades office not even glancing back.*
Neji looks at her in shock for a moment then says "that's all the more reason to not let you go alone."
"I've already gotten approval from lady Tsunade. Look please... I need time to myself," she looks straight into his white orbs as hers fill with an almost unmeasurable sadness "please."
he falters for a moment but regains his composure quickly and not looking directly into her eyes he reluctantly says "okay."
"thank you." and with that she walks out of the room and into the hallway where she is greeted by her father.
He looks at her for a moment the hugs her and says "come back safe."
she hugs him back and says "of course, father."
she lets go and then walking past him she heads towards the perimeter of the city and out the gates of Konohagakure.
A/N this is hopefully the first chapter of a new series, this doesn't mean Slys adventure is canceled just on hold until I can get some ideas. So until next time, Here's looking at you kid.
