After several days of avoiding the press and her fellow officers, Mika's life was relatively back to normal. She only wondered what had happened to Raizo after the big fight. She knew better than to look for him; he wouldn't be found unless he wanted to be. So imagine how surprised she was to see him sitting on her couch as if he owned it and drinking her tea. She gasped in shock. Mika really hadn't thought she'd ever see him again.

Raizo let a small smile grace his lips. "And here I thought that I was doing you a favor by not sneaking up on you," he said.

Mika put a hand on her hip. "I'm just surprised that you're here. After all you disappeared so quickly after the fight."

Raizo stilled for a second and exhaled a little. "I had some unfinished business to attend, Mika," he said.\

Mika understood. He had finally found the peace he had been looking for.

"Then what are you doing here?" Mika asked. She wouldn't let herself hope that he wanted her. Yes there was an attraction between the two that was undeniable, but Raizo didn't seem to be the type to want to chain himself to a woman. He could have any woman he wanted, Mika mused. So he couldn't possibly have come back for her, could he?

Raizo raised an eyebrow. "Should I not be here?" She blinked and he was dangerously close to her face. Mika could feel her face turning red.

"N-no, here is good," she cursed her voice for not being controlled. Raizo looked smug at her nervousness. The bastard was enjoying this, Mika thought. Indignation filled her and she opened her mouth to let him have it but she found it kind of hard to talk with his lips on hers. They were soft and pliant; grazing and teasing until he pulled away.

"You are beautiful when you are angry," he said against her lips.

"Heh. Thanks I guess," Mika whispered. "What was the kiss for?"

He smiled (he actually smiled, she thought) and kissed her again. He held her face in his hands and looked deep into her chocolate brown eyes.

"Because we have some unfinished business to attend to, Mika" he replied. Mika thought he looked quite delicious with that look in his eyes. He looked ready to devour her and Mika wasn't ashamed to admit that she wanted him to. So she let him lead her to her bedroom and they worked on finishing their unfinished business.
