Jonah beck the untold story:

S3 ep14 new beginnings

Previously on Andi Mack

(Clips of Jonahs bankruptcy from "the ex factor")

Jonah: "sometime last year my dad made an investment and we were declared bankrupt"

Buffy: "where are you staying?"

Jonah: "were staying with relatives"

Andi: "Jonah"

Johan: "I'm fine"

(Clips of Buffy confessing she is in contact with Marty from "one in a Minyan")

Cyrus: "who's texting you"

Buffy: "it's Marty"

(Clips of Buffy talking to Marty from "the quacks")

Buffy: "can we please meet up?"

Marty: "Sure we can do that"

(Transition into the opening scene in Andi's living room with Bex and Bowie and Andi playing charades)

Bowie holds up 2 fingers

Bex: 2 words

Bowie indicates it's a film

Andi: a film

Bowie nods and puts his hand together and opens and closes them like a book Andi and Bex think for a few minutes

Andi: the notebook!

Bowie: yeah you got it

Bex: what you've seen that

Andi: you haven't!

Bowie: I cried so hard at that film

Andi: okay okay my turn

(Andi holds up an empty plate and points towards her mouth)

Bex: Hey who wants pizza?

(Queue theme song tomorrow starts today then moves into the next scene late at night with cold temperatures we see outside Cyrus's house then move into Cyrus's house with him walking towards the door hearing a pounding impatient knock on the door)

*pounding knock on the door*

Cyrus: alright I'm coming

*knocking continues*

*Cyrus opens the door to see an upset and freezing cold Jonah struggling for breath *

Cyrus: Jonah! what are doing here?

Jonah: *unable to speak nearly collapsing*

Cyrus: Whoa okay get inside its freezing out here

Jonah: *falls into a chair and tries to get his breath back*

Cyrus: that's it just breathe your safe now deep breaths

(Both take deep breaths and Jonah calms down. Cyrus wraps a blanket around him as he is shivering)

Cyrus: now tell me what happened why where you out there it's like 0 degrees

Jonah: I couldn't take the constant fighting anymore I had to get out

Cyrus: who's fighting your parents?

Jonah: *nods*

Cyrus: about what

Jonah: because my dad still can't find a job or another place to live they always fight and put me in the middle I couldn't take it anymore so I just left I found a bench to sleep on and had a sleeping bag but I lost it and I was so hungry *begins to cry* I had no money and I was scared I knew that I wouldn't survive and you lived the closest so I ran here but if you want me to leave then-

Cyrus: of course not I wouldn't leave you to starve look I will ask my parents if you can stay until things improve okay

Jonah: Okay I would be lost without you Cyrus *stare into each other's eyes* *shakes his head*

Cyrus: right first I'll warm you up some soup but make yourself comfortable

(Transition to the next day where we see Buffy and Marty meeting up for the first time)

Buffy: hey

Marty: hey, it's been a while just to be clear I have a girlfriend now

Buffy: ha yeah I know

*awkward silence*

Marty: do you still run?

Buffy: of course how about you

Marty: yep in fact I've been training for a marathon for the past few months it's this weekend

Buffy: oh think I'll do the marathon as well

Marty: you can't run a marathon you haven't trained for

Buffy: so what I'm hearing is you're afraid I'm going to beat you

Marty: ha no fine your on you'll see how hard it is

Buffy: *laughs* I missed this I'm sorry I called it off in the first place

Marty: yeah it feels good to be friends with you again but admit it I was faster

Buffy: you were not

(transition to Cyrus's house it is 12:30 am Jonah and Cyrus are sharing a bed but Jonah has a bad dream and wakes up panicking Cyrus also wakes up to calm him down)

Jonah: *panting half asleep and confused*

Cyrus: hey it was just a dream it's okay I'm here breath

Jonah: *calms down* it was all surreal and scary

Cyrus: but it's over now do you want anything water or food

Jonah: no this happens most nights I get bad dreams and I'm afraid to fall asleep.

Cyrus: hey I'll stay up with you until you sleep and when you wake up tomorrow morning you'll see it was nothing

Jonah: okay thank you

(Jonah turns towards Cyrus and puts his head on his shoulder and closes his eyes Cyrus smiles realising he may still have feelings for Jonah)

Jonah: um is it okay to rest my head here

Cyrus: yeah I don't mind *curls up next to Jonah and puts his arm on him*

(Transition to the next morning Jonah realises the position he's in and slowly moves away and gets out of bed. Then cut to a park setting where Buffy and Marty are about to run the marathon Andi, Jonah and Cyrus are lining up getting ready to cheer Buffy on)

Marty: are you sure want to do this you've had no training what if something goes wrong you could hurt yourself or-

Buffy: it's fine I can do this try not to be a sore loser

Marty: c'mon it's a marathon we can win it together

Buffy: fine just try to keep up

Jonah: I hope Buffy wins

Andi: she will she's the fastest person I know

Cyrus: it's a marathon you don't have to win it but if anyone can its Buffy you can't out tuff the buff oh and my mom wants us home by five o' clock

Jonah: oh that's cool

Andi: you to having some sort of sleepover

Cyrus: do you want to tell her

Andi: tell me what

(Transition to Celia's house with her and Bex pacing around the house)

Celia: what do you mean you don't want to pick a venue for the reception this is your wedding

Bex: because whatever I pick I'm 100 percent sure you're not going to like

Celia: c'mon there are plenty of places a woodland area an indoor garden sanctuary you must like something

Bex: those are all places you want okay lets think about what I want

Celia: fine where do you want the reception to be?

(Cut to a big disco hall)

Celia: *unimpressed* pleased tell me this is a joke

Bex: *smiling rubbing her hands together* nope

Celia: hu *exit Celia*

(Transition back to marathon scene Jonah finished telling Andi what happened and why he's living with Cyrus)

Jonah: and that's why I live with Cyrus now

Andi: wow I don't know what to say Jonah I'm so sorry this happened

Jonah: Don't be Cyrus has been so great and caring *moves over to him and hugs him* thank you Cyrus I'm going to get a drink

Cyrus: yeah um okay

(Cut to Buffy and Marty running half way to the finish line Buffy looks tired and weak)

Buffy: *stops as she's running out of breath*

Marty: c'mon you can't stop now

Buffy: I'm not its fine lets go

Marty: Hey if you need to take a break that's okay you look exhausted

Buffy: *drinks water* it's okay c'mon

(Marty and Buffy are approaching the finish line)

Andi, Cyrus, Jonah: (cheering and shouting) let's go Buffy you got this, c'mon your nearly there.

Marty: were nearly there you can-

Buffy: *wheezing from exhaustion* *vision goes blurry*

Marty: Buffy what's going on are you okay?

Buffy: *faints in Marty's arms*

Marty: hey okay Buffy c'mon wake up *splashes water in her face*

Buffy: *coughs* okay now I see the point of training

Marty: are you done

Buffy: yeah

Marty: then I am too

Buffy: but you worked so hard

Marty: hey I'd rather quit with you rather than win with anyone else

(Cut to Celia and Bex arguing about the wedding venue)

Bex: see I told you, you hate the venue

Celia: I don't hate or like it for that matter but if it's what you want then go for it

Bex: really?

Celia: I'm tired of having conflicts with you I just want you to be happy

Bex: aww *hugs Celia*

Celia: just the finishing touches now and you wedding is already

(Cut to the spoon where Andi, Jonah, Cyrus and Buffy are having some baby tatters)

Andi: sorry you didn't finish the race

Buffy: its okay me and Marty are friends again I feel like I won

Cyrus: we should go Jonah

Buffy: wait where?

Jonah: we live together now

Buffy: wow how much did I miss

Andi: I'll fill you in
