Hello! I've been floating around this site for awhile, but this is the first time I actually have published something. I've read a bunch of stories on here where Chris gives Beth a cookie, so I was inspired by that!

I do not own Total Drama Island or any of the characters.

"Good question Beth! You deserve a cookie." Chris continued on explaining yet another dangerous and questionable challenge to the contestants. Between Chris' hair flips and smiling at the camera he managed to casually toss Beth an oatmeal-chocolate chip cookie.

From this point it would be safe to say that the day would continue like this: Beth would eagerly accept the cookie, Chris would answer the question, the challenge would commence followed by drama, drama, someone getting kicked off and a little more drama. It may have been the sun, the lack or nutrition or the envious stares of Owen, but Beth suddenly snapped like a brittle twig.

In a brief glimpse of athletic skill, Beth held her hand out and caught the cookie in midair and hurled it back at Chris. The cookie hit Chris in the cheek before tumbling to the ground. It would have been comical but seeing Beth's death glare would make even Duncan cower like a little girl. Surprised at the sudden outburst, everyone turned to stare at the now seething Beth.

"Chris!" She shouted, slowly starting to resemble a tomato. Whoever wasn't looking before now had her full attention. Even the interns who were injured from testing the challenge hobbled over to see this unfold.

"I'm tired of these cookies!" Since having her braces removed she used every chance she had to show them off. Chef would later say that all he would remember was Chris's scared reflection in her teeth.

"At the beginning it was a welcoming surprise, I mean who doesn't appreciate a cookie. Now it's like every time I saw ANYTHING I get rewarded with a cookie. Who needs a cookie at every minute of the day?"

"I do" murmured Owen, who was staring the forgotten cookie on the ground.

"It's always like 'here Beth another cookie or wow Beth, good question!" If anybody else asked a question, you wouldn't give them a cookie would you! And another thing, are you trying to get me fat? If you hadn't noticed my best friend is Lindsay. It's bad enough standing next to her now! I don't need any more of your cookies to make it worse. So just stop giving me those damn pity cookies. They don't even taste that good anyway."

Beth finally ran out of breath and ended her rant in a huff. She glanced around and started to blush when she noticed that everyone was staring with wide eyes and slacked jaws. Since when has Beth been able to do that?

Chris looked around awkwardly and cleared his throat, "So if we are done with the verbal abuse here can we move on?"

Before Chris could even start, Beth meekly put up her hand.

"...Chris can I have that cookie back, I didn't eat breakfast today..."
