I can't help but to repeat this over and over in my mind as I head to leech manor. What the hell do I care if the leech lover is spawning a demon as long as it stays away from me and mine I don't give a damn! But noooo, Swan had to go and get the pack involved. Then after a big pissing match it all went to hell. Now I'm chasing behind these two morons to make sure they don't get themselves killed.

Jumping over another log I knew when I had hit the leeches land. The smell of honey and bleach invaded my nose immediately causing me to gag and fueling my anger at the two idiots. I can't wait to come across Jake, aka moron number one, so I can give him a piece of my mind.

"Bringing his dumbass over here to protect Swan

That idiotic, self-righteous, little shit!

And to top it off... letting my little brother follow him.

I'm going to kill him!"

Running a little more I came into a clearing to see Jake smiling in my direction. Phasing out quickly I hurry and put my clothes on and stomp over to my new alpha who bad the balls to chuckle at me. What he thought was so funny I'll never know, but I do know I'm about two seconds from kicking his ass!

"So you think this is funny?" I question as soon as we're face to face.

Dropping his smug face Jake grew serious as he spoke to me. "No"

"This is stupid Jake." I snap, crossing my arms.

"I know, but she's still my best friend Lee. What am I supposed to do?"

Growling I stepped forward and poked him in the chest. "You're supposed to kick Sam's stupid ass and then attack! Not run off to join the enemy."

Chuckling Jake grabbed my hand and pulled me into his chest to wrap his arm around my shoulders.

"Now I would like to think I'm a smart-"

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves." I jabbed cutting him off.

"Hardy, har, har. But I'm serious Lee, if you're scared I'll understand if you don't want to do this."

"I'm not leaving you two behind to be vampire chow, you need someone to watch your back."

"So you'll help?" He states with that sexy smile of his.

"Like I have a choice!" Taking a deep breath I tilted my head back to look Jake in the eyes as I spoke. "This is suicide, and we'll probably go to hell for protecting our swore enemies but I'll help cause that's the nice kind of girl I am."

Smirking Jake leaned down and our lips collide in a sensual kiss. As he brought his arms down to wrap around my waist I run my hands up his chest to his neck and lock them in place. His tongue glides into my mouth as he takes over the kiss and guides me to jump and wrap my legs around his waist. Our mouths continues this erotic dance that it knows so well until breathing becomes a necessity. Pulling back he smiles down at me and says, "And here I thought it was cause you loved me."

I just roll my eyes and smile a little because only Jacob Black could get away with such a cheesy line and it still be sexy as hell.

"Nope…" I joke shaking my head while smiling. "That's just an added bonus."

I pull him back down to me and claim his lips as mine…
