*~Yuki + Kyo~* [the secret revealed!]
Just as Tohru had imagined, something magnificent had happened; Yuki and Kyo were getting along. In fact, they were falling in love. One day, Yuki and Kyo were just standing outside, watching a sunset. Yuki looked over at Kyo who almost instantly looked back. They had become such great friends over the past couple weeks, but secretly, deep inside, each of them longed to be more. Yuki thought this would be the perfect time to say something, but just as he laid a hand down gently on Kyo's shoulder as if about to speak, Kyo spoke. "Yuki." he said in that soft, meaningful voice that he only used around Yuki. ".Yes, Kyo?" Yuki asked, a tiny bit startled by Kyo's abrupt "silence breaking." "Yuki. I wanna tell you something." Kyo continued, starting to turn red in the face. "Go on, Kyo.. I'm listening. I'm all ears." Yuki smiled. Kyo was blushing madly now and covering his face in his hands, as if to hide it. "(Might as well just let it out.. what else could I lose?)" Kyo thought, drawing from his spirit every ounce of courage he possessed. "Yuki, I. Yuki, I love you!" Kyo shouted, staring into Yuki's entrancing eyes. Yuki was shocked for this was just what he had wanted to tell Kyo. "Oh, Kyo." he beamed. Kyo's eyes had begun gushing out tears. "I'm sorry, Yuki.. I don't. I don't know what's wrong with me!" Kyo sobbed, burying his face in his hands. Yuki set his other hand on Kyo's shoulder. "Please don't cry. Kyo, I feel the same way too, you know. I really do." Yuki confessed, trying to comfort the poor boy as if he were a helpless kitten. "R-really?" Kyo asked in disbelief, raising his head from his hands. "Really." Yuki whispered, now also in tears. Kyo smiled for now his own tears were tears of joy! Yuki brought Kyo to him and held him close in a warm embrace. Kyo squeezed Yuki's thin body ever so tightly. "I'm so sorry for back then, Kyo. I merely misunderstood you." Yuki apologized. "No, please.. I'm sorry. From now on, let's be together forever!" Kyo declared. "Yes, forever!" Yuki agreed. Then he put a hand on Kyo's cheek, leaned forward, and kissed him, like he had wanted to for so long. Kyo kissed back, letting the feelings drown him, and the moon shone over them like a smile, and it was a beautiful, lovely crescent.
