My Challenge to You All
We have all read a few of those 'Lily and the Marauders Read Harry Potter' or other fics where canon characters read the Harry Potter books. But then what? So far I've yet to see one that gets to what happens next. This challenge will be more like that. I don't want another reading of the books, though the comments made can be funny. And I don't want Canon characters to be the ones to change history. Hopefully, someone out there will take up this challenge.
Please message me if you intend to do so. Once I get further into Royalty, I plan on taking this challenge as well, which is why I'm posting it here, rather than on a forum.
Requirements:
Sixteen year old Emma Watson and/or Daniel Radcliffe run into a five year old Harry Potter, realizing who he is and that up to date, the story of Harry Potter seems true (Voldemort, death of Harry's parents, abusive Dursley's, famous Harry, etc), they/he/she decides to take care of Harry and help him with his destiny.
Harry becomes a younger brother to Dan and/or Emma both in mind and legally (adoption or something similar that is LEGAL).
This somehow leads to Dan and Emma becoming a couple (taking care of young Harry leads to feelings to grow between them if they don't already exist) unless you already have them as a couple (known or secret)
No one magical can interfere with their taking care of him, since they do it legally in the muggle world at least until he is 11 (but I'd rather no one interfere ever)
Eventual Harry/Hermione fic. Either Dan or Emma wanted it to end as a H/Hr and try and encourage this relationship (maybe use their own experience as best friends turned couple to help Harry and Hermione along in the future).
Dursley's can be ignored or jailed or whatever you want
Please change the storyline. That's the whole idea behind the interference, so don't leave the story exactly the same. (Ex: So no midnight duels in first year. Dan and/or Emma would warn him from doing something like that)
Good or bad Dumbledore and Weasley's is entirely up to you.
