Watching as my beloved rests, I cannot help but feel a sense of wonder.
A bond, between our two minds.
When did it begin? Perhaps this link has always been present, unnoticed until the moment our minds first touched. Fierce compassion, gentleness I see within her spirit. That is not the only radiance I see within her. Courage, determination and endless strength; this I saw when she forged the precious joining between our two worlds; saving both from destruction.
The other half of my heart, the missing piece of my soul; when she is near I feel complete. Her love is a balm to my loneliness, one bond I will not relinquish.
I would see the Heavens fall into darkness, before I lose my Bright Heart, the other half of myself.
