Shooting Star

As usual, Kyo Sohma was sitting on the roof top of Shigure's house. Why was he up there? That was because the curse of the cat who loved a high place. The orange haired boy really loved high places, fish, and milk. But he hated leeks and rain! The rain always made him feet horrible. Tonight, it was cooler than usual. But still, he sat on the roof.
"Only in this place could I clear up my mind without being disturbed with that kuso nezumi and baka-inu!" He answered when Tohru asked why he loved the
roof so much.
Kyo lay down, and put his hands beneath his head. He thought about today. About
his bet with Akito.
"If she knew about my bet with Akito, I wonder how she would react. Should I tell her? She'll find out, sooner or later." He thought sadly. His thoughts were disturbed, because of someone calling his name.
"Kyo-kun..." The person called.
"Yes?" Kyo answered loudly to make sure that the person that heard him.
"Are you up there?" The person asked again.
Kyo sweat-dropped. She could be so stupid sometimes. A small smile crept onto his lips, and then he answered.
"Tohru, how could I answer your question if I'm not up here?!" He shouted.
The girl named Tohru didn't answer his question. She climbed up, sat near Kyo, and smiled at him.
"How did you know it was me down there?"She asked, curious.
"And since when Yuki's and Shigure's voice become a girl's voice?" Now he was the one who questioned her.
Hearing his answer, she burst into laughter.
"What's so funny?" He asked, confused at why she was laughing at him.
"No, no...It was nothing!" She giggling.
"What ever!" He rolled his eyes. "So, what are you doing here?" He asked again.
"Nothing. I just wanna see those stars. It's so beautiful!" The brown haired girl answer while looking at the stars.
"Not as beautiful as you..."He was mumbling.
"What? Did you said something? Sorry, couldn't hear you..."She heard him mumbling.
"Ah...No! Forget it! Umm...Well...are you sure you didn't want to talk about anything? It's unusual for you come here." He blushed, changed the topic, and
then continued.
"If you want me to help with your studies. You've come to the wrong person. It's better you ask that of kuso nezumi. I'm not good with that stuff."
"No.. It's nothing! I told you I just wanna see the stars!" Then she was
the one who turned red.
"Never mind, Tohru. I was just teasing you..." He said and smirked.
"Kyo! Look! A shooting star!" She shouted, making him jump.
"Oh yes..." Hearing her loud voice, he nearly fell down.
"You really scared me! You want me to fall down?!"He shouted.
"Oh...sorry...I just wanted to show you the shooting star." She apologized.
"Whatever. Don't apologize to me. It was my fault."He regretted shouting at her.
"No, it's not.Um, are you done making your wish?" Tohru asked.
"Tsk. Only children do that stupid thing."He answered coldly.
"Oh, C'mon, Kyo..."
"Fine." Kyo was defeated.
They closed their eyes , and make their own wishes.
"I'm done!" She said happily.
"Same here." He answered.
Both of them smiled to each other, and continued to watching the shooting
star.
