Chapter 1: The Sign

[Months have passed since the fight with the Eggman Empire and Mobius has finally at peace. Despite this new era of peace, the Freedom Fighters remained restless. In the Wolf Pack Nation Sonic and Sally were making their way to pay the Wolf Pack Freedom Fighters, however Sonic was not amused]

Sonic: Sal, can you please tell me why we're here? I like seeing old friends just as much as the next mobian but why so early?

Sally: Because Sonic, Queen Aleena; A.K.A you're mother, told us that Lupe needed to see her, but since she is busy with the council so, she had you and me come since we're honorary members.

Sonic: Yeah, that does make sense. But what do you think has gotten Lupe all riled up?

Sally: We'll know soon enough.

[They made to the Wolf Pack's main building, where Lobo was waiting for them]

Sonic: Yo, Lobo! Long time no see!

Lobo: Prince Sonic, Princess Sally, welcome! My wife has been waiting for you two.

Sonic: Well, we're here now. Lead the way my main wolf!

[They enter the main building. In the center of the room was Lupe and the other Wolf Pack Freedom Fighters, including Guntiver who was now a bit more well-built and was now wearing a green speedo, as was Lupo, Canus, Diablo, Reynard Jr., and Sr.]

Sonic: Guntiver! Nice addition to your wardrobe Gunti, but can what brings you here? You're not a member of the Wolf Pack.

Guntiver: True, but I was just in the neighborhood and thought it would be good to help out my fellow Freedom Fighters.

Sally: We'll need all the help we can get. So Lupe, what exactly did you see?

Lupe: Let me show you.

[She waved her hand around the fire and images began to appear]

Sonic: Whoa.

Lupe: I'm not exactly sure what it is but it involves the Chaos Emeralds.

Sally: Then it must be serious.

Lupe: But there's more, for some reason I also keep getting visions of a monstrous beast not only threatening Mobius, but it might also affect the Planet Earth as well.

Sonic: What?!

Sally: Sonic, calm down!

Sonic: Calm down?! How can I calm down when I just heard that both Mobius and Earth are in great danger?!

Lobo: You're highness; please heed Princess Sally's advice.

Lupo: Lobo's right, Sonic.

[Sonic began to heed his friend's advice and started to calm down]

Sonic (Inhales, Exhales)

Sally: Feel better?

Sonic: Yeah.

Lupe: May I proceed?

Sally: Of course, Lupe. Go ahead.

Lupe: Due to the current situation we're facing. Aleena and I have degreed that this should remain secret between us.

Sonic: But we can't keep this a secret from the others!

Lupe: I understand your concern Sonic, but right now the other Freedom Fighters are busy taking on the Eggman Empire that is being led by Eggman's equally insane daughters and we can't this get this get in the way of that.

Sonic: Then who knows about this besides us and my mom?

Lupe: There's your cousin Tekuno, and your siblings, Big and Hershey know, and the newcomers Calina and Stryker.

Sonic: Alright, but I don't like keeping secrets from the others.

Sally: Trust me Sonic, I hate keeping my family in the dark about all this but we have to do everything to take care of this situation.

Lupe: Exactly. And that's why we're going to help.

Sonic: Okay Lupe, since you know more about this than anyone else, whatever information you have will be beneficial.

Lupe: Of course.

[Suddenly Marcos and Maria came running in]

Marcos: Mama, we got a problem!

Lupe: What is it children?

Maria: Take a look!

[They show her the newspaper, she took the paper and saw that on the front page that Drago, a former member of the Wolf Pack and of the Eggman Empire had broken out of the rebuilt Devil's Gulag and was furious with what she saw]

Lupe: Drago…!

[Lupe crumpled the newspaper in her hand and ripped it]

Marcos: Mama?

Lupe: Marcos, I want you and Maria to go back to the house with your father. Lobo I'm leaving you in charge until I get back.

Lobo: Sweetie, maybe you should stay here and-

Lupe: I am not going to stay here! That bastard Drago is loose and it's my duty to stop him!

Voice: Well if you're going after him, then I'm coming with you.

[Three female figures landed in front of them and they revealed themselves to be Hershey and the twins Leeta and Lyco]

Lupe: Hershey and the twins. Why are you here?

Hershey: I have a history with Drago and I feel like I should help bring him to justice.

Leeta: And we couldn't sit back and watch you fall from grace Chief.

Lupe: You may have left the Pack but you show that you're still part of the Wolf Nation.

Lyco: Of course. This is our home and we'll always come back to help out.

Sonic: I wonder where that no good wolf ran off to!

Sally: Well, wherever he is, he better hope the police find him before either Lupe or Hershey do.

Sonic: Or both.

Sally: Good point.

[Meanwhile on the outskirts of the Devil's Gulag. A figure in a dark hood was making his way toward the caves]

?: Just a few more yards and I'll be home free.

Voice: Not a chance!

[The hooded figure looked behind him and saw that there were a few officers pointing guns at him]

Commander: All right Drago, we can do this the easy way or the hard way, it's your choice.

[The hooded figure took off his hood to reveal his face and it was in fact Drago himself. His fur was a darker shade of white, his eyes were icy blue, and he was grinning]

Drago: So the choice is mine. So I choose… to have a little fun!

[He pulled off his hood and when it landed on the ground Drago had vanished]

Commander: He couldn't have gone far, search the area!

Troops: Yes sir!

[They began looking around but couldn't find anything. Then Drago came up behind one unfortunate soldier]

Drago: Guess who?

[The soldier looked behind him and saw that there was no one around and then a hand came up and grabbed him]

Soldier: What the-?!

[The soldier was pulled into the darkness and was knocked out cold. Then Drago came out of the darkness and revealed himself. He had an above average muscular built, he had on an open blue vest with a capital "D" on the right side and silver spiked cuffs a black tank top, around his waist was a brown belt with gold buckle and a red clasp, underneath he had on violet briefs, cyan tights, boots that were blue just like his jacket. On his wrists were spike blue wristbands, and blue spiked wristbands around his biceps. In his clutches he had two knuckles busters that were pulsing with electricity]

Drago: Hey fellas, I'm over here!

[The soldiers look in his direction]

Commander: Get him!

[They begin charging at the arrogant wolf]

Drago: That's right, come at me.

[He charged at the soldiers who began firing at him, but he dodged every shot like he wasn't even trying and as he got closer he began punching the soldiers, and with each punch, a surge of electricity flowed through their body causing paralysis and/or numbness. The only that was standing was the commander]

Commander: Damn you!

Drago: Oh relax; their still alive. But they won't be able to stand for a couple hours.

Commander: You're going down Drago!

[The commander came at him with two batons, but Drago began dodging and blocking his every attack and then as Drago was about to punch him the commander tried to block the attack but then Drago's knuckle buster broke through the batons and hit him in the stomach, a surge of electricity went through his body and he fell to the ground unconscious]

Drago: Well that was refreshing. I love to stay and play around some more but I have business elsewhere. I'll be sure to send a postcard.

[Drago made into the caves and grabbed a golden ring. He tossed it into the air and activated it. The ring enlarged and created a portal. He went through the portal and was transported to who knows where. What is Drago planning and where did he go? Stay tuned to find out]
