Okay, so I got the idea for this when I was rereading the Serpent's Shadow. I don't know why, but I kept thinking how Sadie and Carter weren't there during the meeting.

This isn't really a crossover, but what do you categorize an Egyptian council of the gods when the Greek gods get insulted an appear and have a minor argument?

This year, while Apophis was rising and was destined to devour the sun, that naturally caused some havoc in the gods. They called a meeting, and discussed the usual, Mother likes Horus better, Ra is a senile wart. But this year, they talked about something else.

"What about Sadie and Carter Kane, Isis and Horus? They're a problem."

"They're going to need some help soon. They're clueless. But they will help the world somehow." Horus suggested.

"What about the death boy? Anubis? He's been getting much too close to the girl."

Isis agreed, "She feels for him. So does he."

"We can't let the boy break one of our sacred rules. We don't want to end up like the Greek gods and their scumbag children."

"He can't have children."

Isis frowned. "Then it is decreed that Anubis can't talk or become directly involved with Sadie Kane."

"Hey Shu, can you be patrol guard? Again?" Horus asked with a hint of irony.

Shu frowned. "Oh, sure. Mock the wind."

"She is going to be very cross about this," Isis muttered.

Just then, a couple new visitors appeared.

A man in a pinstriped suit looking pretty buff and angry appeared and growled at the surprised Egyptian gods, "What did you call us?"

Horus rolled his eyes. "Cool off, Zeus. We were referring to the fact that you let your cock rule the world."

Zeus' master bolt appeared in his hand. "You were saying?"

Poseidon, Hades, and Athena appeared. "Calm down. We swore to keep peace. But if you Egyptians threaten us or cross the line, the treaty is void. You wouldn't like to be fighting with us mighty Greeks while your chaos monster threatens to destroy your world, would you?"

Nephthys answered in a silky wavery voice, "No, we wouldn't like that. But if you think we will surrender to you big babies, think again. We are not as weak as you think. "

Athena smiled grudgingly. "Please, war is not the answer." [A/N Seem familiar? Think Lightning Thief Movie. :)]

Thoth took advantage of the situation. "Sit down. Have some tea. Let's talk about something else. I know. What about the Olympics?"

Egyptians and Greeks alike stared strangely at him.
