To Roderich

When I used to work for Roderich, I would always hear the wonderful music that would echo throughout the house. It was soothing to listen to while cleaning or cooking and it always made me smile. And when the music was missing, I felt sad for some reason…

---

I looked up through the kitchen window, staring into the garden. "Oh," I said as I realized, "Tomorrow is Roderich's birthday…" I said as I pondered on what to get him.

I remembered that a week ago Gilbert had broken Roderich's piano for some unknown reason. My mouth clenched at the thought.

"I know!" I said with much enthusiasm. "I'll get Roderich a new piano!"

---

I stood outside the music store. This must be the fourth one I had visited today; the others did not have a piano that suited Roderich.

As I stood there looking at the brick building, I wondered if this store was going to be a let down like the others.

I shook out all my negative thoughts and smiled as I walked in.

"Welcome!" the store clerk chimed. "How may I help you?"

I smiled as I walked up to her. "I'm looking for a piano." I said.

"Okay! Follow me!" she exclaimed as she walked towards the back room. I hesitated, and then proceeded to follow her.

"Is there a specific piano you're looking for?" she asked.

"Hmm…" I paused. "Not really, but I would like a black grand piano." I paused again. "One that's fit for a great pianist."

"I'm guessing it's for a lover then, right?"

"Y-yes." I blushed as I looked at my feet.

She looked over at me and smiled. "Well, this piano would be perfect for that special someone."

I looked at it. It was beautiful! It's perfect for Roderich! I smiled to myself, but at that same moment a scene of Gilbert breaking it ran through my mind.

I gritted my teeth and clenched my hands into fists. "… Is it albino proof?" I asked quietly.

"C-come again?" she asked nervously.

"I mean, is it easy to break?" I asked, blushing at my little slip up.

"Nope!" she said cheerfully. "It's pretty sturdy for a piano."

"Is it fire proof?" I asked.

"I'm not sure…" She said hesitantly as she scratched the back of her head. "But if it is burned or damaged severely, we'll replace it. And if it obtains a 'battle-wound', we'll fix it!" She added with a smile.

"Great!" I said as I clapped my hands together. "I'll take it!"

"Okay!"

"Just one more question." I said as she looked over at me. "Do you make deliveries?"

Okay so maybe when I wrote it, it actually might have had an end... But use your imagination people! Sheesh! Writer's can't do all the work! -shot-

As always, please review even if you hated.... and if there's "requests" for me to write a "proper ending" for this story, I will do it... eventually... -_-;

Oh and like really my birthday doesn't matter... I get to eat lots of candy with cake and then get really sick!! Yay!!! DX

Happy Halloween/etc. (since I'm an "ignorant" American) to you! =D
