Visiting

I don't own Digimon at all

A/N: a Takari one. It's been a long time since I did one of these.

Kari awoke in the morning and stretched. She pushed a slumbering cat that was lying on her legs off. There was a meow of protest from the cat for being moved and awoken.

"Sorry Bean, but I have to get up" Kari giggled.

The cat, Bean, yawned and stretched as it found a new spot to sleep. Kari shook her head then got up and showered. Once she was clean she headed to her closet and looked through all of her clothes. She then grabbed what she wanted.

"Perfect" she said.

She got dressed and then went into the kitchen to get breakfast. After she ate she then headed out the door nabbing her purse on the way.

/Scene Break/

Kari rode the bus til she got to her stop. Her eyes looked out the window not really seeing the passing scenery. Soon her stop came up and she got off. She walked across the street and headed inside the wrought iron gates. She walked along the rows til she turned into one of the rows and then found her spot and sat down.

"Hey, I'm a bit early this morning. I just couldn't wait to see you I guess. It's been a week since we talked. Anyway, Tai's doing good though you should've seen his face when Sora told him she was pregnant. He went pale and fainted dead away. Sora almost had to call Joe since Tai didn't wake for a good half hour. But when he did he started to panic and rush around like the baby was coming now. Sora finally calmed him down by smacking him with a frying pan. I think she carries it around with her since she pulls it out whenever she needs to. Matt's doing good, he's a test pilot for the Air Force and enjoys his job. Izzy and Mimi are doing fine, still can't believe they are together, but there happy I guess. Yolei and Ken are having their third kid I believe. I've lost track really. It seems almost every time I see Yolei she's pregnant. Cody's doing well as a lawyer and making a difference I think. Davis' noodle cart didn't go very well, but he fell back on soccer and made the national team. He's very excited. Joe is doing great working as a doctor. He's one of the best I've heard."

Kari was speaking all of this as she pulled the errant weed from around the stone. She brushed off the little debris from the stone itself.

"As for myself. Well, I am getting by. I'm into my fourth year of teaching and I am liking it. I do miss the kids from last year, but it's always fun seeing the new class. I still do photography in my spare time. It's a nice relaxing thing to do."

Kari tucked a strand of hair that blew in front of her face. She placed it behind her ear as tears started to well up.

"I miss you TK, I really do. There are some days that I just don't want to get out of bed. I know it's silly. It's been what, two years since you've left me, but it still hurts like it happened yesterday. I wish you were still here with me. I do need you. You just had to do something and tried save a guy who was drowning. Sometimes I wished you hadn't done that, but you wouldn't be TK if you didn't try and help someone in need. I'm not complete without you, I am a Light without her Hope" Kari said as she wiped the tears away.

Before was a gravestone. It read:

Takeru 'TK' Takaishi

Little Brother, Good Friend, Loving Husband

The Bright Ray of Hope through the Dark Clouds

Kari wiped some more tears away that had fallen. She then used her finger to trace TK's name over and over since this was as close she would ever get to him for now. She then got up and brushed herself.

"I'll see you later TK" she said softly.

A warm breeze kicked up all the sudden and Kari could've sworn she heard TK's voice on the wind.

"See you later Kari."

End

A/N: this was my first attempt in a sad story. I am unsure how well I did with it. Let me know. Thanks for reading and please review.
