CAPTAIN SINGH REVEAL

"Allen!" a voice thundered from the office. It was Captain Singh, Barry's boss at the C.C.P.D. "Allen!" Barry ran into the room and closed the door behind him.
"Sir, I'm almost ready with those files from the Port case. The victim was stabbed in the abdomen which triggered a..."
"That's not what I called you in for!" Barry bit his lip. "You are late. Exactly, two hours and forty minutes late! What is more important than your job here?!" Barry glanced at the TV where a reporter stated what had happened in the morning.
"The Flash has stopped an explosive planted right in the square of Central City. He bravely ran into the building and turned the power off. He stopped the explosion just in time. And what all of us want to know, who is this hero?" The screen went black. Singh held the clicker in his hand tapping his foot on the ground.
"You like the Flash? Don't you? Well, at least if the Flash worked here, he would get here on time!" Barry laughed, a little more than convincing. "Anyway, just please..." The world stopped as Barry heard a beep from the desk drawer, it was no better than a bomb!
Barry grabbed Singh and ran into a skinny alleyway just outside the building, boxes blocking the streets view. Singh looked around. "What the...? How did we get down..." A gust of wind blew past the two. A black figure stood at the other end facing Barry.
"Barry, go behind me!" Singh ordered. Barry didn't follow, just stepped closer to the monster. The captain drew a gun. "Allen! Get back here!"
"Does it have to be here?" Barry asked angrily. "Why now?!" He knew it was the one and only Zoom.
"I told you! I will stop you, Flash. But, not until everyone you love dies right before your eyes," even with the big mask, Barry could tell he was grinning. "Like your poor old dad." Barry charged forward, using his speed but Zoom punched him into the wall.
"Barry!" Singh cried. He was just about to go to shock. Was Barry... The Flash?! It couldn't be! Or, yet it would make the most sense. The CSI was the Flash! How could he have been more unaware!
Barry collapsed to the ground but quickly got up. Zoom pointed to Captain Singh. "This is your boss, right?"
"What do you want?" Singh asked.
"To see The Flash, suffer, or Barry if you purpose!" Barry sneered and tackled Zoom onto the ground. The Flash rolled a few punches, but Zoom had flipped Barry onto his side. He stepped up and kicked his side, hard, then even harder.
Singh fired a bullet but Zoom caught it in his hand. He threw it on the ground, and too fast for anyone to see, Zoom took the syringe that lay in his pocket and stuck it into Barry. He groaned. Then, Zoom was no was in sight.
"Allen!" Singh knelt next to Barry. "Allen?! I'll get an ambulance, don't worry!"
"Call..." he murmured painfully. "STAR LABS!"
"But..."
"Just do it!" Barry seethed.
Barry was rolled into Star Labs, The Captain following. He stopped mid track when at the curve of the hallway, was the Flash's suit. The Flash's suit. Iris ran in through the door. "What happened?! Is Barry okay?!"
"He'll be okay!" Joe promised. While Cisco and Caitlin got Barry settled on the bed, Singh walked over to Joe.
"So, he's... really the Flash?" Joe nodded. "He must have been through a lot in the past years!"
"Oh yeah, he's been trying everything to get payback from Zoom after he killed his Father," Joe confessed. "The body's under lock! We didn't want Barry to have to go through any of that again!"
Singh nodded.
"Guys!" Cisco yelled. "He's still awake! We need to pull the syringe out!" Joe walked over. Barry didn't look as frightened than he was showing on his face.
"Then give him pain relievers!" Singh said. Iris shook her head sadly.
"They don't work on him!"
"Just pull it out!" Barry said.
"His metabolism would burn right through!" Caitlin explained.
"Bite down on this!" Cisco said sticking a roll in his mouth. Singh looked horrified.
"You can't just pull it out! Barry, you can't possibly..."
"He did it before, Singh," Iris said. "He's strong!" Barry shut his eyes tight.
"Hold him down!" Caitlin instructed. They did so. Singh stepped back. He had no idea this was what had happened to him and he's been so harsh! "Ready? 3...2...1!"
Then everything went black.
Barry slowly opened his eyes. Singh was sitting next to him. "How are you feeling?"
"Better than I've ever felt in my life!" He threw his head back on the pillow. "I could've stopped him, and I just got beat up!"
"Don't beat yourself up for all this!"
"It's my job to protect the city! Oh goodness!" Barry stared right a Captain Singh who held in a laugh.
"Yeah, I know!" Barry shook his head slowly. Singh looked confused.
"What's the matter with me knowing..."
"No! You don't get it! Zoom targets the people I'm close with and knowing my secret I just put you in the center of the danger..."
"I'm an officer, I already put myself in danger! This is not new to me!" Barry shook his head sadly.
"I'm sorry, really, for everything..."
"If anyone should be apologizing, it's me! Barry, you're a hero! I shouldn't have been so hard on you..."
"Now being late, let me tell you, unfortunately will never change! Even with superpowers!" Singh chuckled.
"You rest, but then I'll see you at C.C.P.D."
"Sure thing, Captain!"
