Disclaimer: I do not own Shakespeare's XVIII sonnet, nor do I own any characters of JK Rowling's Harry Potter series.

Note: This parody is meant to breathe life into a love between Draco and another character in JKR's books. For me, this pairing is Draco and Harry. For others, it may be Draco and Ginny, or Draco and Pansy…it is truly up to you, the reader, to decide.

Draco's XVIII

Shall I compare thee to a winter's night?
Thou art more wicked and thou art extreme
Heavy breaths do flutter the candlelight,
And winter's lease is too much like a dream:
Sometime too cold the eye of heaven cries,
And often is his icy pallor hid,
And most every foe from foe sometime shies,
By chance, or his order's changing course bid:
But thy eternal winter shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that foe thou ow'st,
Nor shall good find thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal race with base thou grow'st,
So long as you can breath, and thine eyes see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to me.
