" Is anyone else's nose feeling funny?" Tony Dinozzo asked casually.

" Funny how Dinozzo?" Gibbs said with a raised eyebrow.

" I don't know itchy like I need to sneeze or something ."

" You feeling okay?"

" Yes it's just this tickle. It seems like it wants to come out but then it backs off."

Kate placed a box of tissues on Tony's desk. " You're going to need those in a little while."

" Thanks Kate I'm sure it's nothing."

Kate nodded . " You're welcome."

A few seconds later Tony's eyes fluttered shut as his nostrils began to flare a little. He lifted two tissues to his nose and mouth as his breathing began to hitch .

" Come on sneeze." He muttered. " This is ha driving me crazy."

The room had gone quiet but then he Gibbs and Kate were the only ones in the bullpen at that time.

His eyes began to water and he knew that he needed to give in and get it out of his system .

" I want to sdeeze ha need a sneeze . Haachooo."

Tony sniffed afterwards and shook his head. " That felt better ."

" Bless you Tony . Are you sure you're not getting sick?" Kate asked.

" No I feel fine something is just making me want to Hachoo sneeze. "

" That's two Dinozzo one more and you are going to see Ducky."

" I think it's over boss. " The problem was Tony could feel a third monster sneeze building in his sinuses . He held his breath and rubbed his nose with some fresh tissues to try and fight it off .

" Ahhcheew." Tony sniffed . " Ducky it is. I must be allergic to something up here. But the only thing I get like this around is roses. And there aren't any in here."

" Well lets go find out." Kate went to the elevator with Tony.

Something floral wafted off of her as they walked.

" Kate what perfume are you wearing ?"

" Why?"

" Because I think I am going to have a sneezing attack."

Kate grabbed some other tissues and handed them to her partner.

" Oh Tony I'm so sorry. I think I need to shower and get this perfume off of my skin. But first we need Ducky to give you some Benadryl or something."

" Make it fast Kate ." Tony rubbed his nose with tissues fighting off the impending itch and explosion to come .

He went to see. Ducky and explained the problem . He was given Benadryl and asked to lay down on one of the tables. Gibbs came down a few minutes later.

" How's he doing Duck?"

" It seems he's allergic to perfume Kaitlin was wearing. She went to shower and change clothes. I gave him Benadryl and he's taking a rest."

" Good let him do that for a while." " When he feels better tell him I said go home ."

Ducky nodded. " I will Jethro."

Then Gibbs went out of autopsy and saw Kate heading to the elevator in an NCIS hoodie and jeans.

" Is Tony okay?"

" He's napping off the Benadryl. Why don't you head home Kate ?"

" All right. I just feel bad that my perfume caused this."

" You didn't know, neither did he."

" Have a good night I'll make sure he gets home okay."

" Thanks Gibbs i'll call him and check on him later ."

Gibbs looked at her for a moment but didn't comment .

He knew they had been getting along better recently but decided not to push it.
