It was just after our 30th birthday when we all started to feel something happening. Cosima put sample after sample under her microscope but nothing seemed to be different. It was also different in all of us. For me, my hands started to tingle every time I got mad which was often. For Cosima it was all over her body like her skin was getting tighter. Even Helena felt some strange feeling in her feet. But it seemed that Alison was completely fine. Her only problem was her headaches but of course she resorted to medication for that.
That was when Cosima skyped me...
'Sarah I am really freaked out,' she said, her voice much higher than normal.
'What's going on?'
Cosima pointed the camera down at her foot. It was green and scaly with claws emerging through her shoes.
'HOLY SHIT!' I yelled. That was when the room started to vibrate and random objects started flying for my head or just floating mid-air. I tried to calm myself down as many councillors had once tries to teach me, at that point I realised this wasn't some enemy that I could fight, I was doing this.
