Moonrise

Prologue :

A shining almost transparent wolf appears in the doorway of his room. Then taking one step at a time it reaches his ear and whispers, "Wake up, black **lupus." Slowly he opens his eyes to find himself awake once more staring at ferocities. Seeing the blue moon rise he jumps out the window. His image begins to shake a little and he starts shining. In his place was a black wolf with a white filled in crescent moon on the center of its forehead. Patters and swirls came out of it and it gently carved its way down his face and stopped under his eyes. He hears a distant singing work its way to his ears. It was a voice so familiar it hurt him to hear her. He howls a howl so mournful it breaks the hearts of many. Then he runs swiftly into the direction of the singing angelic voice.

She watches the blue moon rise glowing blue as if it is part of night. A startling wolf howls as if highlighting the night. Closing the window, she walks to her bed and lies down. Then she falls into a restless slumber repeating over and over again, "Wake up Niveus, candidus lupus." She awakes with eyes of blood and walks to the window. She opens it and sings the fist verse in response to the wolves' howling.

"Rose, rose, rose, rose, shall I ever see thy again?"

In response a mournful howl breaks over the moorland.

"Ding dong ding dong wedding bells on an April mourn,

Carve my name on a moss covered stone,

On a moss covered stone."

An almost desperate howl breaks the night in a wail.

She closes the window and walks back to the bed in which she lies down in. She closes her eyes and once again falls asleep repeating the same thing. A while yet for her was waiting. Who was she? Instantly she stops repeating the name, and when her moon, the red crescent reaches its shining moment and touched her. Almost as quickly as it began it stopped. It could never glow if she never knew.
