Wolf
He breathed deeply. With his eyes closed he was trying to remember her face. But as hard as Wolf tried he could not remember. All that remained was a name, 'Clare'. That name had haunted him for the last several years. Maybe at one point he had known a Clare, but for the last seven years since he had been sold to become a gladiator he hardly remembered anything at all. For the last seven years his life had consisted of training to fight. Wolf looked to his weapons, Wolf had been trained for many styles and weapons, but for this fight he would use a massive Great sword. About as tall as Wolf himself and three hands wide at the base the weapon was a monster. Wolf looked down at his armor, reminiscent of the male claymore era or so Islay, his mentor, told him when he had given it to him. It covered his arms, shoulders, and thighs but gave little torso or back protection. His helmet covered most of his face except for the chin and mid-cheek and was carved in the shape of a Wolf.
(A/N think of the helmet from the movie Gladiator that Maximus wore but carved into the shape of a wolf.)
"Raki!" Isley demanded, suddenly appearing beside Wolf though outside Wolf's cage. Wolf gritted his teeth. He hated it when anybody called him Raki. While Wolf did not remember much, he did remember Raki. But Wolf was not Raki. Raki was a cub, Raki was a child, Raki was kind, Raki was innocent, Raki was weakness. And Wolf was not a cub, Wolf was not a child, Wolf was not kind, Wolf was not innocent, Wolf as not weak. Wolf was grown, Wolf was strong, Wolf was deadly, Wolf could not be killed.
"What?" Wolf demanded of his mentor and owner.
Isley grinned back. "Now it's time for you to do what you do best." Isley told Wolf. Wolf nodded, now he would spill blood.
This is a one-shot based off an idea I had a while back. If enough people like it I could make a fully-fleshed out fanfic. So tell me what you think. Should I expand on this or should I kill this bastard child before it can feed.
A/N2: So as it turns out I am not going to continue this for the foreseeable future. Instead I will be working on a The Witcher/Claymore crossover. This will not be up for a while since I still need to finish the second Witcher game.
