Purely a Hidan childhood fanfic... no parings x(
Hidan pulled himself back under the covers as the morning sunlight gently steamed into his room. It's too early for this, he thought, peering out for a moment to check the time. It was 7:35, and school started at 8:15. He sat up and stretched, wishing the day wouldn't suck.
He looked at his Jashin pendant, which hung around his neck. It was the only thing that made him happy; his belief in Jashin was great. The birds were singing their morning song, right outside his window. As they did, he gazed out to the sparkling sea. But once again his father ruined the moment; he came marching in the room with what he called: the nice wake up bell. He was ready to hit it, but then he realized Hidan was already awake. It was a pleasure to torture Hidan in the mornings. His wide smile turned into a disappointed look. Hidan had his naturally silver hair color from his father, and his lavender eyes from his mother.
On his way to school, Hidan avoided the popular boys, they were bullies. Sure he wanted to be friends with them so he wouldn't be alone, but no matter what he did they despised him. Hidan didn't have any friends, no one dared to talk to him. The teachers were even backing away when he passed them.
Nothing had changed. The classes were a normal bore, pupils gave him bad looks, and some made him trip with a huge pile of books in his hands. Those bastards couldn't help but to laugh.
After school was finished, the popular boys approached him. Some of them were grinning with their ugly faces. Who appeared to be the leader of them, said:
"Hidan, right now you have a once in a life time opportunity, you have a chance to join us." With no argument, Hidan said he would take it.
They lead him into the dark woods, Hidan praised Jashin for this. His pendant was hidden under his light-blue shirt. The area was all muddy; it said "skvosh" every time they lifted their feats.
"We have some tests you have to do, of course every one of us has done the same thing," the leader said, "Now go into that mud and stay there for three minutes. We'll take your time."
He pointed to a grouse brown spot. Hidan nodded and did as he was requested. It was freezing cold and almost too hard to move. He gathered his strength, and was obsessed with the thought: I have to manage it no matter what!
"One minute left!" a boy yelled.
Hidan started breathing faster and didn't succeed on calming himself down. The mud was sucking him down; it was already up to his waist.
"And you're done, come up we have another test for you!"
Slowly Hidan managed to move his feats towards the safe ground. The next was to jump from a stone to another; it seemed to be an easy task, until he touched it. It was slippery; he had to be careful of where he placed his feats. He tried once and failed; down he went and hit the ground. The second went better. He stood steady, and then jumped, landing on his stomach. It was painful, but they accepted it. The gang got bored after a while, but they needed one more test. A bit away was a suspension bridge, made of wood. It combined to steep hills, and didn't seem to be in such a bad shape so they gave it a shot.
"Walk over that bridge and back, if you succeed without any problem, then you are closer to become one of us."
Hidan did so and had zero problems. They said it wasn't as simple as that, it was a two part task. He had to be blindfolded and so the same thing. He walked slowly over, the bridge rocked a bit too the left and right. It made a wierd creaking noise, but Hidan gave it no thought. Then suddenly, it cracked and Hidan fell down.
Well... This text was written by me when I had some big English test thingy... almost like an written exam, for around two year ago. I'm not sure if I like the outcome of it, it defiantly wasn't planned that I was going to kill Hidan (Well it's an open ending, it doesn't mean I actually killed him). But I got an A as an comfort.
