Chapter 1:The Uneaten Choco-chip Cookie

---àZell is looking for a table and saw a new girl on a seat for two, the other seat is empty.

Zell: Um…Hi! May I seat? There's no other available chair.

Girl: Oh sure

Zell: By the way, I'm, ehem, Zell Dincht (flashing his best smile)

Girl: Oh hi! I'm Yannah Alexandros

Zell: The Alexandros?? The family that had recently moved to Balamb?? (munching a cookie)

Yannah: Yeah! Hey, is that chocochip cookies?

Zell: Yup, want some? (offering Yannah the plate of cookies)

Yannah: Oh,geez, thanks. These are actually my favorite. (smiles to Zell)

Zell: Where did you come from, by the way?

Yannah: I came from the north… at Trabia

Zell: D'you know Selphie Tilmitt?

Yannah: Of course…She was actually my best friend before.

Zell: Wait a minute…I heard about you..Selphie used to talk about you, you know .

Yannah: Oh, is that so…We had a fight before she left Trabia…I missed her so much. You know Selphie too?

Zell: Yeah, she's my friend, too. What are you studying? Maybe I could help you there.

Yannah: You mean this? GF's. Can't understand them.

Zell: Really? Well, do you have a GF?

Yannah: Nope, but I really want a Carbuncle, it's so cute

Zell: Well, my friend, Squall, has one. Maybe he could help you. Anyway, do you play cards?

Yannah: Do You mean Triple Triad? Yeah, sure I play those.

Zell: Why don't you compete with Squall. He's one tough opponent, ya know.

---àZell picked another cookie, the same time with Yannah. They looked at the plate, and saw that they are both touching the same cookies, and also each other's hand.

Zell: This is the last cookie. Here, Yannah, have it.

Yannah: (blushes) No thanks. I actually had eaten more cookies than you have.

Zell: C'mon, I'm giving this to you already.  If you don't like it, I'll not eat it either

Yannah: Oh, whatever you say. Well, bye, Zell. I'll be late for my classes. See ya some other time. (waving good-bye to Zell)

Zell: Hey,wait! Yannah! (following her)

­­---à Zell hurriedly followed Yannah leaving the uneaten chocochip cookie touched only by the hands of Zell and Yannah.
