[Together, a Dream]
"Zabuza! Zabuza!" The eccho of his name rang in his ears like sweet bells from a blossoming flower; can 3 mere syllables really emit such joy? I can believe so, can't I? If questions were his goal, he'd have reached infinity by now and claimed his prize at the end of a lonely tunnel. But this was reality, and reality didn't have feelings; just an inanimate ideal that condescends a person's mind. Then it came again. "Zabuza!" Followed by the familiar, genuine laughter that momentarily eased his mind.
"Zabuza!" It came once more, this time the sound wavered too close to his ears and joltet his eyes open. He blinked a few times. It was always like this when he first left the impossible and back to the ancient tree, the closest thing to a home. He would survey the green earth that arched in a unitary formation of a perfect and flawless curve by the wind. Then the trees would intercept his gaze and reveal its strength and beauty, from their honorable roots, to their magestic height, and finally the small green valuables that stabled the entire plant. The radiation of green nature was magnified by the endless blue behind it. Sometimes streaks of red and gold were painted upon the blue and intensified the radiance.
"Dreaming again, Zabuza?" A young boy's face would finally peer through his sight and that completed his reason for life. If you look closely, you might just be able to see the small curve of Zabuza's lips; of course, the young boy wouldn't miss it. The boy could see even deeper. Deeper into a land covered in snow. The land lay barren except for snow, snow and two figure that seemed to make sense as they walked side by side, leaving behind their yesterday with every step. Once upon a time, the snow was empty. But that was then and this is now. Now, the snow was their dream.
