A/N: HUGE spoilers for "The Road Home." DO NOT READ if you don't want to be spoiled. I am going to write a few one shots based on the end of this latest episode!
Michelle huffed and puffed as she slowed her pace; just a bit. Her body was telling her to slow down, not to stop, but to walk, and considering it was freezing outside, Michelle decided to listen to it and stop for a brief break.
The sun was just starting to rise as she came to a stopping point at a beautiful structure, a water fountain stood in the middle; the perfect place to stop. And as she looked down, when she looked down, she saw it. Someone had left a brand new iPhone just sitting there. What in the world?
Looking around, Michelle grabbed the phone and immediately activated the "home" screen. Seeing a passcode come up, Michelle sighed. There was no way she would be able to find out who the phone belonged to, until someone called.
So, she stuffed the thing into her pocket and continued about her run. The phone began to ring, someone was calling, but she didn't notice. The phone was on silent and until Michelle looked at it again- nobody would answer that phone. And she still had another fifteen miles left in her run.

Cruz took a deep breath as he entered the BAU, he had to calm his nerves. Nothing had happened, no, JJ was fine. She just wasn't answering her phone; he would see her in a moment. But when he glanced around the BAU, he knew he was wrong.
Morgan was there, as was Reid and Rossi and Alex, and Garcia, and Hotch. They were all there. Almost. The one person he wanted, the person he needed was nowhere to be seen.
"Agent Hotchner." Cruz motioned for him to speak in the small corner, privately. "Have you spoken with J.. Agent Jareau?"
Hotch looked at Cruz, and was instantly able to pick up that something was very wrong. "Not since last night."
Cruz nodded and looked down. "Call her." He directed. "She isn't answering my calls."
Hotch's eyebrows arched, why was Cruz calling JJ? "Sir?" He dared to ask.
Cruz shook his head, not ready to explain anything. "Please." He motioned towards Hotch's phone.
Eyeing him the entire, Hotch pulled out his phone and dialed the familiar number. And when it simply rang and rang, Hotch realized Cruz was telling him that something was very wrong.
"Garcia." Hotch turned to his tech. "Find JJ, now."

Michelle had just arrived home when she remembered the found cell phone. She grabbed a large glass of water, then plopped down on the couch and took out the phone. She was astonished to see it had over twenty missed calls. Whoever this phone belonged to, they were missing it.
She nearly jumped when it began to flash and light up. The name "Hotch" lit up on the caller ID, and without thinking about it, Michelle answered the phone.
"Hello." She answered casually.
Hotch, hearing the unfamiliar voice on the other end, closed his eyes. He knew this was not good. "I am looking for JJ,"
"I found this phone.." Michelle began to explain.
"Where?" He signaled for the team to surround him,
"At some park, water fountain.."
"Ma'am, my name is Agent Aaron Hotchner, I am with the FBI. That phone belongs to a federal agent. I am sending two over right now." He didn't bother asking for her address, Garcia had already given it to him. Instead he looked over at his silent team. "JJ is missing." and then he turned to Cruz. "You are riding with me." And dammit, Hotch would be getting answers. It was time to figure out what was going on between these two. He just hoped it wasn't too late to save his agent.
