Hey. FreedomWriter58 and I did an Odd Squad role play. We started this on June 17th, 2017 and we are still doing it to this day. This role play that we're doing is amazing! We both made things up as we go. This was our idea.
It was a normal day at the squad. Oscar walked into the lab. He took out a gadget and started to work on it. The gadget that he was working on was a gadget that Oona broke the day before. "Why does Oona always cause problems!?" Oscar asked to himself. Olive walked into the lab. Oscar did not know that she was there. "I have no idea Oscar." Olive said while she was walking in. She scared him by accident. Oscar screamed. "What are you doing? You scared me." He said.
Olive raised her hands. "Chill I was just coming to return a gadget to you. Geez." She said. Oscar felt ashamed. "I'm sorry Olive. Thanks for returning the gadget." Oscar said. "Sure thing Oscar." Olive said in a sad tone. She was about to leave until Oscar stopped her. "Olive? Are you alright?" Oscar asked. "Uh..yeah. I guess. Um yeah." Olive said. "Is there something wrong with your shoes? Because you're looking at them." Oscar said. Then he changed the subject. "Hey, I wonder where Otto is."
"Uh nothings wrong with my shoes and Otto's at his desk." Olive said, again in a sad tone. "Can I ask you a question? Why are you sad?" Oscar asked. Olive turned to face Oscar. "I'm not sad, and I don't know what you're taking about." Olive said. "Sorry." Oscar said. Then Oscar put the gadget away. "Okay." Olive said. "So what can we do now?" Oscar asked. "I'm going back to my desk, I have work to finish." Olive said and she left the lab. Oscar sighed. He had a secret. He has a crush on Olive.
While Olive was walking to her desk, Otto saw her. "Hey partner. What's up? I'm just listening to Soundcheck." Otto said. Then Oscar decided it was time to tell Olive how he feels about her. So he walked over to Olive and Otto, but then he chickened out. Instead of telling Olive how he feels about her, he told Otto that Olive doesn't want to listen to Soundcheck. "Hey guys. Otto, I don't think Olive wants to listen to Soundcheck." Oscar said. "Oh." Otto said.
Olive didn't answer. However, she looked at her worked and started working on it. While she was working, she sighed sadly. "Oscar, is something wrong with Olive?" Otto asked. "I'm not sure Otto." Oscar said. Once again, Olive ignored them and she sighed again. "So Soundcheck?" Otto asked. "Sure, but in the lab." Oscar said. "Okay." Otto said. Oscar and Otto went into the lab.
Olive forgot that she had another gadget that she had to bring to the lab, so she went to the lab. "Oscar I have another gadget to return. Here." Olive said and she handed the gadget to Oscar. "Thanks Olive." Oscar said. "Want to join us?" Otto asked. Olive shook her head. "Uh I just can't, and don't follow me." Olive said sadly and she ran away. "Okay. What's wrong with her?" Otto asked. "I don't know. Let's not get involved." Oscar said.
After running out of the lab, Olive ran to her desk and laid her head face down. Otto and Oscar saw Olive. "Call the doctor." Oscar said. "Okay. Dr. O!" Otto screamed. Then they heard a voice behind them. It was Dr. O. "You called for me?" Dr. O asked. "Yeah. Something's wrong with Olive." Otto said. Dr. O looked over where Olive and her head face down on her desk then turned to Otto and Oscar. "Nothing seems wrong with her boys. She just looks tired or sad." Dr. O said.
"Well maybe she should go home early. That's what I would do when I'm not feeling good." Oscar said. "I can't do anything to help, but maybe you two should talk to her. You're her friends." Dr. O said. "Partner, what's going on?" Otto asked. "Are you alright?" Oscar asked. "I think you two should talk to her. Really." Dr. O said and then she walked off. Olive looked up at Otto and Oscar. "I'm uh fine, why do you ask?" Olive asked. "n-nothings wrong a-at all."
"Okay." Otto said. "You know where to find us." Oscar said. "Come on Oscar." Otto said. "Okay. I don't know if we should leave Olive alone." Oscar said. He felt bad for his friend. "We'll check on her later." Otto said. Olive put her head down on her desk. Oscar looked at Olive. He knew something was going on. Then Oona popped up. "Hi Oscar!" Oona yelled. Oscar screamed. "Don't do that!" Oscar yelled. "Sorry. What's up?" Oona asked. "Something's wrong with Olive." Oscar said. "Yeah we don't know what it is." Otto said. "Talk to Ms. O." Oona said. "I guess we can." Oscar said.
Dr. O walked to the lab. She saw Otto, Oscar, and Oona. "Did you find out what was wrong with her? If not, you can always go to Mrs. O." Dr. O said. Oscar was surprised. Did Dr. O call Ms. O, Mrs. O? "First of all, it's Ms. O. She is not married. And yeah we're going to talk to Ms. O." Oscar said. Otto and Oona were laughing. "Mrs. O." Otto said. "Funny." Oona said. "Stop. Come on." Oscar said. "I know and I'm sorry. Geez someone fell off the wrong side of the bed." Dr. O said.
Otto was confused. "Who? Olive or Oscar?" Otto asked. "Oscar or maybe both of them." Dr. O said. "Sorry. In fact, I did fall on the wrong side of the bed." Oscar said. It was true. He only got a few hours of sleep last night. Dr. O was laughing. "It was meant as a smart remark. But seriously tell Ms. O. There better this time, grumpy Oscar." Dr. O said.
"What? Okay I'll tell Ms. O." Oscar said. "He's not in a good mood today." Oona said. "I can see that." Otto said. "That's not hard to tell." Dr. O said while she was laughing quietly. Oscar went to Ms. O's office. "Hey Oscar." Ms. O said. "Hey." Oscar said in an annoyed tone. "Something is going on with Olive. She's not acting like herself." Ms. O was surprised. She never heard Oscar like this before. "First of all are you okay. You sound annoyed. And yeah, I know about Olive." Ms. O said. "I'm just in one of those moods. So what's wrong with Olive?" Oscar asked.
Ms. O knew what was happening. "You can't tell anyone else. Her dad is sick in the hospital and he might not make it and Olive's depressed about it." Ms. O said. "Oh. So that's what's going on. Don't worry I won't. I'm not even in the mood to talk to anyone in the first place." Oscar said. "Okay good. Thanks Oscar." Ms. O said. "You're welcome Ms. O." Oscar said. Oscar's legs were hurting him. Ms. O went back to work. "Do you mind if I sit in this chair for a few minutes?" Oscar asked. "Um alright. Why are you okay?" Ms. O asked. Oscar had a confession to make. "I'm not feeling that well." He said.
Then there was an explosion that came from the lab. Everyone knew that it was Oona who did it. Otto saw the explosion so he went to Ms. O's office. He knocked on the door. "Sorry to interrupt, but I have news. Oona made something explode in the lab." Otto said. "Oscar you might want to leave after you help clean up the mess with Oona." Ms. O said. "Alright." Oscar said and he went to the lab. Otto was confused. "What's wrong with Oscar?" Otto asked. "He told me that he's not feeling well." Ms. O said. "Oh." Otto said.
