Poetic parts
Some days, Rapunzel did nothing but gaze at the sun.
Throughout the mid summer sky, a golden orb of light appears. Throughout the summer's breeze, the heart will roam free. But there was always something missing.
But what was it? She had friends. A loving family. So what could be missing?
But, what is the sun, if there is no moon? What of the cold bittersweetness of winter? What of the glow of the moon, which gives the night its true beauty?
"Rapunzel?" Her mother called up to her, "Get dressed, we have new neighbors. They have a boy about your age. He could be cuuuute!" Rapunzel groaned. She just wanted to stay inside today. It was cold outside. Not to mention snowing. But...she was curious...
"I'll be down in a minute!" She called back. She grabbed her coat, pink winter boots and purple gloves. She ran downstairs, and once she reached the bottom, she hoped from foot to foot putting on her boots.
"Okay, let's go!" Her parents smiled and they walked across the street to a simple house.
The door burst open, and a boy with brown hair and eyes ran out yelling, "SNOOOOOOOOOOW DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!" He wore no boots or coat. He danced around, embracing the falling snow until, "JACKSON OVERLAND FROST! GET BACK IN HERE!" A woman yelled, a small girl giggling behind her.
"Aaaww..." Jackson whined and caught sight of the Coronas. "Er...hi?"
Rapunzel smiled and walked over to him, "I'm Rapunzel, welcome to Corona!"
"Jackson, but you can call me Jack."
"NOW JACKSON! OR I'LL TAKE EMMA UP ON HET OFFER OF GIVING HER YOUR DESSERT!"
Jack's eyes widened as ran back inside yelling, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Rapunzel stared after him, smiling slowly.
The woman smiled at her, "I'm Luz Jillian Overland Frost , this my daughter Emma Karina Overland Frost. My husband isn't home come in."
Once inside, Rapunzel's father spoke, "Was that..."
"Oh, it's normal. You should have seen him when he was a kid, he's go out in the middle of the night! Still does actually. I think we made a mistake in naming him Jack Frost..." Luz chuckled, "He can never have enough cold, ice or snow."
Summer breeze, forever filled with warmth, found the joy of the winter's cooling touch. Call it a hunch, but tonight, begin the new era for a new start of life.
"Hey Jack?" Jack smiled at Rapunzel, "Yeah?"
"Mind if we...go out sometime?" She didn't know why she asked, but there was just something about Jack that spoke out to her. Jack smiled more, "Nah. How about tomorrow?"
"I'd love that."
