Nyssa could see the disappointment and frustration in her father's face after she told him that she had released Sara Lance from the league. "Your sentimental attachment to Black Canary has put me in a difficult position" Said Ra's Al Ghul
"I understand father." Nyssa responded
"No one has ever been released the League of Assassins before. It might be difficult to make sure no else ever will." Ra's Al Ghul stated
"We both know you'll manage and as for anyone never being released from the League before might I remind you..." began Nyssa
"Don't." interrupted Ra's Al Ghul
"And you're saying Black Canary had an ally? Starling City's hooded vigilante?" pondered Ra's Al Ghul
"The Arrow." Answered Nyssa
"He nearly killed you."
"Yes." answered Nyssa
"I have made my decision." declared Ra's Al Ghul, "You may have been content to release Black Canary from the league but I am not. Black Canary will return to us or she and her family will die."
"I understand father." Said Nyssa
"You must forget about your feelings for her. Your sister made the mistake of falling in love with someone who went on to betray the league and it cost her everything. Remember that."
"Yes father." said Nyssa
"One more thing. The Arrow has proven to be a dangerous adversary. We must be aware of who he really is." Said Ra's Al Ghul "I am tasking you with finding out the truth about him"
"Yes father." Answered Nyssa
"I am feeling a strange sense of Deja Vu." Stated Ra's Al Ghul "the Arrow sounds like a certain detective I once knew. Another adversary like that cannot be allowed to stand in our way."
