So that killed me big time. What an episode. I am not happy with losing Tony from the show and the team as he has always been my favourite but I understand it's time for him to go. While I wasn't the biggest fan of Ziva and I really didn't like Tiva together I am glad his leaving had to do with her and not him dying. As someone who has lost many half's of ships I am sorry for all you Tiva fans whose ship just sunk or rather was blown up. It's a pain that you will carry with you.

Little Tali is adorable and tony is going to make a great father. I'm just sad we won't get to see it.

Any way this little one shot is just a way to move on from the events of the episode.

This is not very long it's just a little blurb in the future as a way to get the episode out of my head.

"Abbah!" Tali called from the living room. We were starting our very first Magnum PI marathon in a few minutes and I was on popcorn duty. "Hurry up I wanna get started."

"Hang on a minute Tali I'm coming." I called back as I quickly dumbed the contents into a giant plastic bowl and grabbed a few sodas from the fridge. She had already pressed play on the first episode by the time I planted myself on the sofa next to her. The bowl sitting between us as the smell of the freshly buttered popcorn wafted through the air. "You started without me T." I exaggerated a hurt tone.

"You were taking too long." She shrugged. "So you love this show. It's so cheesy." She giggled half way through the episode.

"Its good quality eighties TV. Long before you existed kid." I chuckled. I could almost hear her roll her eyes at me. "You sure this is how you want to spend your summer Tali?"

"Yes Abbah I love spending time with you and with papa gone I don't want you to be alone." I looked over to my sixteen year old daughter. She looked just like her mother, tall, dark skin and eyes. I pushed the sad thoughts of Ziva from my mind and focused on Tali.

"You don't have to take care of me kid you know you can go hang with your friends if you want to."

"Victoria is spending the summer in Cape Cod this year and I don't like my school friends during the summer remember." She explained. I had forgotten that Jimmy and Breena were taking Victoria to Cape Cod for summer holidays. Since Ducky passed away and Jimmy became the number 1 M.E at NCIS time off was limited for him. The director managed to get him the entire summer off to spend with his family and Breena requested they go to the Cape. We had been invited along but I still had to work so I reluctantly had to decline.

When I first learned about Tali and she came home to live with me I made the choice to travel with her for a while before we settled down again. I came back to DC not knowing where else to live. This city is my home, it was Ziva's home for years as well. I went back to school and got a degree in teaching and soon found a job at a local university teaching film studies. Just like my alias when I was with Jeanne. Only it was real this time.

Every Sunday we all gather at Gibbs house for a big dinner, he retired from NCIS a few years after I left and McGee took over as the team leader. Tim and Delilah finally got married and now have twin sons Toby and Tony. I made fun of McGee for naming his kid after me for a long time but secretly I was really happy. Ellie never did remarry after Jake but she did become a super-agent. And by that I mean she moved into politics and became the director after Vance retired.

Tali doesn't have her mom to guild her but she has a lot of people who love her and look out for her and that's all a guy can ask for.
