Disclaimer: I, Artsysmiles, do not own Tokyo Mew Mew. ...I wish I did though. That is all.

This is my first Tokyo Mew Mew fic. Please let me know what you guys think.

Kisshu was sent to earth to give it to his people. And while he was there he observed many different things.

He saw the way the birds chirped, the way the humans interacted with on another, and the way life went on in Tokyo. He also saw people fall in love with each other, and he also saw death.

Kisshu also saw Ichigo.

He saw the way she joked with her friends. He saw the way she got flustered around Masaya. And he saw the way her eyes sparkled whenever the pair went on a date.

But Kisshu also noticed things no one else did.

He saw the way she'd get quiet whenever people asked about school. He saw the way she'd chop up her vegetables in order to make it look like they were eaten. He saw the way she always put her socks on first, and how they always had a pink stripe along the bottom.

Kisshu saw all these things, and he began to understand her.

But what he didn't get was the way Ichigo looked at him.

He didn't understand why her eyes would soften during their battles, or they way she always seemed to push harder when he was watching. He didn't get why she was always out of breath before the battle began, or the way her face would flush when he told her he loved her.

Kisshu didn't know why Ichigo had traded her life for his, or why she cried over his practically lifeless form. He didn't know why she hesitated before denying his affections for her. And he didn't get why sometimes he caught her staring out the window in the direction of his perch.

Kisshu knows alot about Ichigo, but he will never understand how much she loves him.

Well...I'm disgusted with myself. I used to watch the anime when I was about 11, and just recently got back into it, so I'm a little rusty with my Tokyo Mew Mew stuff. So, please review and let me know what you think.
