The Couples Poem
George and Alanna
The Best of the Best
Both of these two heroes
Have faced many tests
Thayet and Jon
Since they first met
have been inseparable
you can bet
Daine and Numair
The powerful mages
teacher, friend, lover
are their relationship's stages
Alianne and Nawat
a human and a crow
Going on adventures
With his silliness in tow
George and Alanna
both stubborn, both strong
In no way is their
relationship wrong.
Thayet and Jon
Both with royal blood
But both unafraid to be
drenched with mud
Daine and Numair
both In love as can be
As long as they're together
They'll always be free
Alianne and Nawat
both in the Copper Isles
they're love is still strong
When they're separated by miles
George and Alanna
the knight and the spy
their lives will always
always be tied
Jonathon and Thayet
a king and a queen
but they act like
everything in between
Daine and Numair
the black mage and the wild mage
Though their magic's different
They're always on the same page
Alianne and Nawat
the spymaster and a spy
No one can separate them
so why bother to try?
This poem is for the couples,
the Tortallans that we love
And when we think of true love
These are the ones we think of.
