Okay this was most definitly spur of the moment. I was watching the vids from crisis core (Im also currently playing the game) and I had the sudden inspiration to write a quick little ficlit. Why? because Im a huge fan of zacky and sephy. theyre smexy together.

The sun was now shining through the clouds, the sky brightening after a long and mournful rain. Footsteps could be heard, boots walking softly on the battle worn ground. Silver hair swished soundlessly back and forth as a lone figure seemed to step out of the shadows, his green eyes takingscanning in the view of midgar in the distance.
His eyes narrowed as it came to the lone figure lying at the edge of the cliff. Silver eyebrows knitted into as frown as he stepped closer, reckognition taking place of his expressionless mask as he stared at the raven haired man on the ground.
Zack Fair
The raven haired man that made it to first class. The same man who caused the former general to smile softly at his outgoing antics. The man that had managed to make a special place in his dark, twisted heart. The eyes that were once showed so much emotion were now closed, never to open again. Never to look at him with adoration and respect.
Sephiroth sighed. He regretted what he had done in his hysteric state. Fighting Zack, injuring him and the other soldier he didnt really know the name of. If he had been more rash with his actions this might not have happened.
Cold green eyes softened momentarily as he knelt down and gently brushed away some of the raven haired mans bangs from his face. He shook his head as he realized that the man had died smiling. Something the general could always picture.
At the sound of helicopter propellers, he silver haired man stood. Casting one more glance at the young mans pleasant face he turned and walked away.

'I couldn't be there for you'

Eto. .. that only took me like 5 mins to do but I wanted to get it out of my head. Man, even though I had known that zacky died ((Thanks to ff7 and ff7: last order)) I still wanted to cry when I had seen the ending. It was so bloody sad!!
