Lost Emotions
Natsumi loved one man only and that is the greatest hitman in the world, namely Reborn. She gave up almost everything. Her happiness and her future, it was all a happy ending not until she saw Reborn with another woman. She felt pain in her chest. She couldn't breathe properly. She couldn't take the pain any longer so she confronted Reborn with all of her might despite all the pain that she felt.
"Reborn, who is that woman?" Natsumi demanded an answer from Reborn. She started to tear up but she did her best not to cry in front of him.
*smirk* "She's my new girlfriend. By the way, stop calling me already. I'm already done with you." Reborn just passed through her without even sparing a glance with her.
Natsumi was so consumed by the pain that she wasn't able to shed any tear. All the love she had disappeared, what was left was her pain alone only.
Three years has passed, Reborn kept on looking for her. He kept on looking for the woman who loved and accepted him for who he is. He searched anywhere regardless of what country it is but all of it ended in failure. He can't find her anywhere, let alone see her shadow. He regretted toying and playing with her feelings three years ago.
"Natsumi... Where are you?"
Reborn was called unto by one of his boss. He was ordered to assassinate the daughter of one of their rival family. He accepted the job and prepared himself for the mission. He investigated all informations about that rival family. Once he got hold of all the information, he infiltrated the enemy's base. He searched for the person whom he has to kill. He felt a presence coming from behind. He cocked his gun and turned around to point it to that strange presence. He was so surprised to see who it was.
A girl was pointing a gun to Reborn as well. That girl happens to be Natsumi.
"Heh~ Reborn... Did you come here to kill the daughter of the head of this house? Well, don't waste your time searching because that person is already here, standing right in front of you." Natsumi said in a cold-blooded tone without any trace of love for Reborn left.
Reborn didn't expect to see Natsumi in this way again. Not in a way where he would choose whether to follow his mind or his heart. In his entire life as a hitman, this is the most difficult mission that he ever faced.
Author's Note: I don't know why but I just have to write this one-shot story down. It causes me to suffer from this writer's block syndrome. Ahehehe...
