NOTE: I don't own Naruto.
After the battle against Orochimaru and Kabuto, Tsunade, Shizune and Jiraiya (that was carrying Naruto who was still unconscious) went to their hotel. Shizune healed their wounds( AN: I suppose Tsunade ran out ofchakra).
Later that night, when everyone were asleep, Tsunade was still awaken. She couldn't sleep after all that happened the last few days. 'I can't believe I was such a fool… almost gave Jiraiya and Naruto to Orochimaru in exchange of my brother and my love. I even hurt Shizune. Thank Kami I got some sense before something worse happened…'
Tsundade got up and looked to the sky through the window. Am I going to be a good Godaime?I hope yes… ' She sighed and left the room for a walk.
When the was about to pass through Naruto and Jiraiya's room, she stopped. She suddenly started to feel anxious. She decided to come in and see how Naruto was doing. When entered the room, she saw Jiraiya snoring loud with his latest Icha Icha book com his face and Naruto under the blankets sleeping peacefully. She turned to Jiraiya and thought: What a pervert. I hope he doesn't corrupt Naruto's mind with that damn book.' Then she started to go near Naruto's bed and looked ant his face.
She bit her lower lip to try suppress the tears from falling, but it was useless. 'He looks so much like him.' She started to gently stroke his head as the tears steamed from her eyes.
'I can't believe that he suffered as much as Jiraiya told me. He deserves better! I'm going to become a hokage just for him. I'm not going to allow anyone to hurt him again. Not even those narrow minded elders. I'll crush anyone who treats him like a monster. Even if the whole Konoha be against. I know Sarutobi-sensei wanted to protect Naruto AND have peace in the village, however I won't be like this. Enough of their crap. If they Can't see the difference between container and contained, so the hell with them!'
She lowers down and gently kiss his forehead. She notice a small smile in his face. 'I want you to know that you are a special boy, just a little too cocky. I know you'll became a great hokage one day. Have sweet dreams.' She gave a last look on him and left the room.
When she lied down on the bed more tears fell. 'Kami, please, don't let that my cursed necklace harm him. All the people I gave this necklace died. Please, don't take him away from me…' After a few moments she slept.
