Sleeping in my bed, snoring off my head, I jump up and said "I smell waffles!" I run out to see Kojiro with a pink apron on and realize he is my mom!
I thought I was asleep at first but I told myself to wake up. It doesn't work as I try.
"This must be a nightmare!" I cried.
He set the waffles down and said with a lisp "Wafflessss…" his eyes widened and he grinned.
Then Kojiro grabs me by my shirt and sits me down at the table, that's when I recognized that he is a very strong mom…athletic mommy….
I did not feel hunger after this, though I stared at the wondrous waffles in front of me. I felt frozen, stiff in disbelief.
"If Kojiro Sasaki was truly my mother then these waffles should taste like they're my mom's." I said in my thoughts.
"Yeah, they're good, tasty and delicious" I mumble out loud.
Kojiro looked over in my direction and said "Delicioussssss…."
I cringed as he smiled and felt out of place. My sister awoke from her pillow's embrace.
She came to the dinning room; hair was like a messy broom. She saw nothing out of place with our mom; she acted like nothing was wrong.
I wondered if my dad and brother had changed, then I thought that maybe I was insane. As I saw my new mom look down at his feet, the cat named Shadow rubbed him wanting meat.
After Kojiro fed little shad-star he took off the light pink apron and set it down. I saw the necklace that my old mom wore around his neck and I frowned.
In my thoughts now, "How can it be possible that my mother formed into a samurai warrior?"
I looked up at him.
"And how was I even born?!" I felt so forlorn, not knowing a thing.
He saw the sadness in me and giggled at my pain, but he was my mom now so he instantly hugged me.
Free hugs consume any hurt, even if your mom is a scary pale-faced samurai guy.
