One day
You were here
The next you were gone
You left without a goodbye
I didn't know
That you left me
Till 3 AM
I had been sleeping
Peacefully dreaming
Dreaming of you
You and me together
Together forever
Next thing I knew
My phone was ringing-playing our song
My best friend had called me
To tell me the news
You had left and gone away
Gone away forever
So young
So innocent
So abrupt
So fast
So unbelieving
I didn't believe it
I wouldn't believe it
But I had to believe it
Cause it was true
You were dead
I stared at the poem I had just written. The paper was drenched in my tears. My only one true love had left me alone. It was too hard to believe. I wasn't truly alone. I had my best friends and my family, but it still won't be the same. It's been 10 days since his death. Everyone keeps saying that things will be all right, but they won't. They keep saying that I will find someone else. Someone else to love. But I won't. I never will. I will NEVER find someone better than Derrick.
A/N: Aw this is so sad. But I think this oneshot is one of the best that I have written.
