"There was once a young boy no older than three,

Who decided one day he wished to be free.

Free as the stars that sparkled in the nigh.

Free as the birds that flew through the sky.

But as he grew older he finally realized,

That his wish to be free,

Was just a mere fantasy."

"Kuroko! Oi! Kuroko!" someone yelled. The young man in question raised his fluffy cotton candy blue haired head from the book he was reading. His piercing blue eyes looking at the tall man that had called out his name. Raising a single eyebrow, the young man asked in a quiet, but annoyed voice, "What is it Kagami-kun?"

Not picking up on the annoyed tone, Kagami eagerly answered, "I have been trying to get your attention for a while now. I was trying to see if you wanted to go out Saturday night? There is a new movie and I want you to go with me." He was a tall man in his early twenties, with two-toned red hair, and crazy eyebrows. Anyone passing by could hear the hopeful tone to his voice and see the hope shining in his matching red eyes that he would get a positive response from the other teen. He would be left disappointed.

"I already have plans for Saturday. And before you even ask, no I am not telling you what they are," Kuroko answered with a bored tone. "Now if you don't mind, I would like to get back to my book."

Kagami stared at Kuroko with his jaw dropped. Kuroko was pissed about something and it was obvious he did not want to be bothered. Closing his mouth Kagami mumbled a quick response and then proceeded to high tail it out of the library. A pissed Kuroko, was a dangerous Kuroko.

Once Kagami left the library, Kuroko let out a frustrated sigh. Knowing that he would not be able to continue reading after Kagami made him think about the upcoming Saturday, Kuroko put the book away. After the book was put away, Kuroko leaned back in his chair and let out another heavy sigh. Thinking back to what happened thirty minutes ago to cause him to become annoyed when Saturday was mention, Kuroko stood, gathered his bag, and left the library.

Walking down the street, Kuroko pulled out his cellphone to reread his text message.

Bane of existence:"Hey Kageneko, we need you to come in Saturday night. Big VIP coming in and we need our best. They are willing to pay double."

Kuroko:"Make it triple and I'll do it."

Bane of existence: "You are being difficult, but I will make sure it happens. Thanks Kage. See you Saturday."

Kuroko flipped the phone closed. He had a routine to plan.
