Oh how those mako green eyes haunt me

Clouded with pain, sadness and sorrow

Night after night, sleepless in my dreams

Your looming figure outside my bedroom window

Your sword gleaming in the moonlight

Warning off enemies who dare intrude

Protecting still the one you love

The wife you left so far behind

I lie here restless upon my bed

My pillow drenched with fallen tears

Crimson eyes so cold and hollow

Now I face my darkest fears

Moving from the warmth of my sanctuary

Wondering down to the living room

Droplets rain down from the sky

Upon the couch there I lie

Lightning flashes and thunder roars

And so your shadow spills upon the floor

Your luminous smile pierces my mind

I rush to the door, and there I find

My love, my happiness, my life

Confusion arises be gone my strife

I slip my arms around you strong yet delicate frame

My love for you have always been the same

Your long silver hair over your shoulders they drape

Soft gently eyes upon my you gape

I shutter at your whisper which blows within my ear

Those tree sweet words for I have long to hear
