In Cantrelot, the Friendship Festival was going on. Twilight was the organizer, Will and Lilo were helping her out, Fluttershy and Layla were running the petting zoo, Rarity and Magenta were putting up the decor for Songbird Serenade's appearance, Pinkie and Zach were doing hip-hop acts, Warren and Layla were having a prank war with a group of troublemakers, and Applejack and Ethan were taking care of the special effects for Spacepop, who was the opening act.
"Can you believe that Songbird Serenade is coming to Cantrelot?" Luna asked.
"Me too!" Hera shouted.
"Are you sure letting Spacepop perform the opening act was a good idea?" "What if Luna steals the spotlight again?" Twilight asked.
"No worry" Will replied, "WE told her she can try on Rarity's latest outfit if she lets everyone in the band a chance."

"Attention all Ponies of Cantrelot" she shouted, "I am Tempest Shadow!"
The ponies started to panic. Juno fought off some of them while the others decided to go to Princess Celestia. Unfortunately, Tempest's Hedgehog minion, "Grubber" captured Spacepop, "You ladies make perfect minstrels!" he flirted as he licked Luna's cheek, "Just need a new look."
"Athena NO!" shouted Ethan and Will picked him and ran off. By the time they got there, it was too late, they were trapped in a cage, "Go to the "queen of the hippos" she'll explain everything." Celestia groaned.
Zach, Pinkie, Bob, Iago, and Ethan started to giggle. They needed to buy some time to escape, "Laughter" Zach shouted as he made balloon duplicates of them. Twilight placed the crown on the fake Twilight and they ran off. Tempest came in and found out that she was tricked. She summoned a message to her boss, who looked like a scary white creature, "Your Highness" Tempest explained, "Princess Twilight has escaped, the only thing I got is her crown."
She paralyzed the crown, "Don't worry, they'll return." he replied. "In the meantime gather the princesses energy to activate my staff and in return, your horn will be restored."
Lord Hater and The Harbingers of Doom showed up uninvited, "All hail The Storm King" shouted Commander Peepers.
"Stormy Boy" Lord Hater shouted, "What's up?"
"Lord Hater and the Harbingers of Doom" Storm King growled, "Haven't seen you since you've ruined my 500th birthday party."
"All I did is do a big fart in the finale of our song, " King Dedede explained,
"And I was knocked out for 12 hours," Dooku recalled in anger.
Dimentio popped out and explained that they heard he was going to ruin Equestria and figured they could help by making everyone act cookoo. The Storm King agreed.
